Bonus Q18 - I'll have another go at this, it wouldn't happen to be Shane Watson with 7 in 2009 at Centurion. If it isn't this answer, i'm stumped.

Wow this is actually taking longer than I expected. Hint: Ricky did it in the World Cup, but Steve did it in the 2003 Sydney Ashes Test, and Taylor did it in the 1997 Ashes Series in the first test at Edgbaston.

As you say, this is taking longer than expected...Would it happen to be that Ricky Pointing became the third Aussie captain in succession to save his career with a "gritty back-to-the-wall" century. You sure have a good memory if you can remember that far back.

Nathan Lyon and Trent Copeland are the n00bsI THINK the answer would be fairly simple .....Nathan Lyon balled 5 out for 35ish or so, which 5 outs in a DEBUT game is CRICKET HISTORY worthy I would guess!

You are correct about those two debuting, BUT you've fallen into the trap. Whilst getting a 5 wicket haul is highly commendable for his first match, that is not the answer. Try again.
