Personally, I think a sequel would never be as good as the original when it comes to The World Ends With You. Though there are so many possibilites, TWEWY covered the basic formulas exceptionally well, and utilized the touch screen to its full capacity, something most games do nothing with.Of course, I'd still BUY a sequel if it came along. It may not be the marvel the first was, but I would definitely appreciate one.:]

mm... probably would be good if there was a The World Ends With You 2 , i mean the first was rly cool (i've completed it already ) but this time maybe a girl was the protagonist would make a rly good scene probably and maybe turning Neku as that dead person helper like the other guy that created the pins (i dont remember his name lol)

I think the concept of the plot pretty much ended when the story ended - I'm thinking a sequel would have to start on a totally different foot or it might be that much worse.

i think there really should be a sequel because the first one was entertaining yet challenging at some times

Yes! There should deffo be a sequel. I had NO idea what the story line behind the first one was. The designers should make a sequel which explains a little more what happened

If there was a direct sequel, it would pretty much ruin it. A spin-off (like for something like tin pin) would be nice but a direct sequel probably wouldn't make sense.

Loved the game (even thought I haven't finished it) and thinks that there should be a sequel.

I loved TWEWY to death and I frequently tell people that it is the best DS game ever. My first response was "hell yeah I'm up for a squeal!", but the more I think about the more I feel the story of the first game was complete and finished. I really don't want them to open up the first story again unless they have a really good way of doing it and adding something meaningful. What I would like to see is a squeal in game play, but with new characters and a different story. Maybe a few cameos of the other characters but there should be a new main character and new party members. This would give them the opportunity to add new game play elements and such which would give vets something new but the new cast could ease first timers into the game play.

I think there should be a sequel, but I don't think it shouldn't focus on the same characters as the first. They sort of hinted in the game that there were other areas in the world that played the Reaper's Game, so playing in a different country would be cool. But if there were to be a sequel, I think they should focus on the system of reapers, angels, vibes, and planes of exsistence more. It was very confusing to understand and we only get to know about them through the secret reports.
