This is my attempt to create the feel good thread of the year © . In here you can share stories of completely random acts of kindness by strangers who made your day/week/whatever even though they didn't have any reason to do so.My story: At Rock Werchter, a festival, I accidentally lost my wallet while heading home about an hour after the final act (on day 2 out of the 4). When I was back in my tent on the camping I noticed I lost my wallet - I definitely had it when I left the festival terrain, so I must have lost it while I went back to the camping. It was about a 10-minute walk so plenty of space to lose it. Crap. My wallet, with my ID, bank card, driver's license ,about 60 bucks and a bunch of food/drink tickets in it. ****.The following morning I suddenly received a text message that said "get your wallet at the entrance of camping A2" (there are about 9 campings I think, pretty big festival). OK, awesome. I go there and it's just a random festivalgoer. He told me he'd used the information in my ID to look up my home address with his phone, called my parents for my cellphone number, so he could send me the text. He gave me back the wallet and everything was still in there. Holy ****.I told him I could never repay this incredible kindness, but I still wanted to give him free beers or 20 bucks or something, but he absolutely refused anything I'd give him, telling me "it's the normal thing to do".What a great guy.Now it's your turn, DG. Share your stories of random kindness and make everyone feel a little happier.

i do remember one thing.
it took hours and hours but.
by the time i was done with it.
i was so involved. i didn't even know what to think.
i carried it around with me for days. and days.
playing little games.
like. not looking at it for a whole day.
and then. looking at it.
to see if I still liked it.

This fellow at an amusement park was speaking a completely alien language to me.It was abumpy ride so he said something about my legs.I didn't get it.Finally to prevent me from getting hurt he pulled my legs into the correct position and left me there so i didn't break my knees. LOL i was so stupid.I'm glad he was there.Or it would've hurt.Wait a minute.I bet you SC regulars come here so that your posting rank improves.I'm a reaper YAY.Molh: Actually we don't care about posting rank. We just want the discussions to improve. All of us used to come here and actually discuss things, you know. Since we left the place has been deteriorating, it seems. Time to lift the stamdards, or at least bother to try.

Once upon a time I misplaced my beloved cellphone in a club in my drunken haze. Luckily for me the guy who found it called my last dialed number which turned out to be the person I was out with that night. I exchanged a drink for my phone, well worth it!
