Cloud by far is the coolest character. he was the most interesting character in the final fantasy series so far in my opinion and he faced off against the greatest villian of all time SEPHIROTH.

squall and cloud pretty much owe but if i had to choose then squall for his personality his whole dark lone hero thing was cool in my opionion

No offense to anyone who likes tidus, but i think he is not as appealing as cloud or auron. auron is silent, and well silent.

I think Tidus is the best charecter, I just wish he'd change out of that stupid costume. Squall and Cloud are a close second and third.

I think Tidus and Cloud are the best and will always be the best... although Tidus was better. I hated Squall cause he was a complete emo... always being so moody. Cloud fought wherever and whenever he could and had a cool donkey sword 
. But Cloud got people killed (Zack and Aerith) 
. Whereas Tidus gave his life or his friends and was pretty upbeat and not boring... so ahh there.
