I'm going with Zidane from the world of Final Fantasy IX. A thief-like character wielding daggers and double edge blades. The story in the game ended up making him the character with the biggest amount of change in him.

Zell and Irvine from FFVIII. The reason is because Zell was pretty crazy in battle and save me from death a couple of times. And Irvine because beasically him alone killed the final boss. Limit Break + Pulse Ammo ftw. I got her to her final form before he died. He was then replaced by Squall to my luck. I used Aura to get limit break ability and some how got Leon Heart, like 3 times and killed her on the 3 one. I got other stuff and Rinoa used Invincible Moon twice, but that's besides the point.

Freya from FFIX. Simply because Burmecians are awesome, and because of the dialogue between Freya and Zidane in Lindblum.Auron also manages to bring a satisfying amount of gravel-voiced samurai badassery to the table, and Kefka is the villain to end all villains.He also has a cool name. >,>

Cid from Final Fantasy IV. Very useful in battle, and at least the equal of FF VII's Cid in attitude.

My favorite is Yuna . Shes awesome because she has story and can summon. I also like her in FFX2 with that cute outfit.

I like Cloud and Auron but i'd have to say Auron more because he is always pumped for a fight and he pretty much a BA.

My fav. is Vivi..I played the ff9, that was the 1st FF i've played so i think its natural that i would like a character from this FF...GO BLACK MAGES!!!!!!

My favorite character is Shadow, I really like this character, and well, others like, Sephirot, Tidus an Yuna are awesome too. Final Fantasy and his entire saga are great characters, I suppose over 100, so its difficult have just one.
