I hate it when my friends all have the same gba games as me, but their DS does not Have any slot for a link cable, I think DS should have a lnk cable slot, What do you Think?

Its not something I would have wanted to pay an extra $20 for. Would have been niced though if there was a software way to get around it and use the local wirelessas a GBA cable, though.

I think the DS had a GBA slot just so that you didn't have to carry both a GBA and an NDS because the NDS was new but you love your GBA games. Since it's not focussing on the old GBA I see no reason to why they should support GBA linking. I mean, Just put the cartridge into a GBA and link. The DS has inbuilt wireless communication(?) for it's games and a link cable seems like such a drag; I'm glad they killed it completely.

I bought the gbc link cable around the time when the sp came out. Works perfectly then but now I'm about the only one who stills has a gba anymore. It would have been neat if they had included the link cable input, because then you'd be able to use all the other things that went with it like the printer. But since they didn't I still wish that they had somehow set up wireless communication for gba games.

I agree... i think it should be able to link to the older gbas with the old link cables... instead you need to spend even more money for a convertion cable

It would have been nice, and I do think it should have to be more fully backwards compatible, but oh well. Used GBAs have been pretty cheap for some time, so I just use those for transferring between GBA games.
