Most disastrous thing was dropping it off from the table, the UMD slot thing popped out, I just smacked it back in... *not a good idea :haha:*. On the original psp my joystick died, and on the psp slim my joystick is registered as moving even though I'm just using the d-pad, not sure how that happens.

I once placed my PSP in my back pocket nd acually sat on it while in a bumpy taxi ride. This distorted the LCD display so it got reduced from a PSP slim to a screenless mp3 player. :haha:

I'm pretty crazy when it comes to handhelds. I take care of them too much. I let one of my friends borrow my PSP one time and literally was worried something would happen to it the entire 2 days that he had it.

My sister dropped it, It has a 1cm crack on its lower left corner so the pixels on that edge don't work. That's a good centimeter of screen. The Screen also looks really icky and has lines on it like the TV filter in VBA

Nothing bad happened yet to my PSP...but my best friend's...suffered a bit.He was recharging it on the table and his lazy cat decided she wanted to run pretty much everywhere. She ran into the cord...the PSP flew and well...you had the PSP on one spot, the battery somewhere else and the UMD also away from the PSP. The PSP was still working (somehow) 'xcept that he was losing the screen after a while. Had to buy a new one...he took a used one and the "Home" button was going crazy for no reasons at all.

I dropped my 1001 off of a 3 story building one time, and it survived with barely a scratch. My 2001 though? Fell out of my pocket as I was getting into my girlfriend's car. As it was falling, I slammed the door on it... had to replace the screen, and the disk drive hasn't worked since...

To be honest, this PSP hasn't taken much abuse -- at most, a few small or light falls. My cell phone takes more damage.I've had a lot of systems in the past that take massive damage, but have been taking pretty good care of my recent ones. Luckily, they build them like tanks anyway.

First one: Black screen. It happened during downloading a demo and it'll never turn on again or something. It turns on in some ways... I'll get it checked out eventually to at least try and reuse old parts for something.Second one: No Major damage... yet.

When I'm the one playing with it, my psp is fine, but when my little brother or my sister's boyfriend use it is like they have a bat in the fingers when they tap the buttons. I hate that, I hide it from them most of the time...

I had 3, on my 4th... my first one my little cousin destroyed with a harmless bath while i was at school... my uncle replaced it, and that one was stolen at school. :P Then I got a PSP slim with allowance money, and I kid you not that it took only 8 hours for its screen to turn pure white... I still don't know why, but I got it replaced by warranty.
