As a local nutritionist. You got to have more meat and vegetables or a ration of 2:1. As a lot has stated, you get protein from meat. Protein acts as a lot of things within your body (Body growth, maintenance and contributes energy) while vegetables also has some protein in it, but mostly in minute amount. Yes, you'll get most essential vitamins from vegetables including plant fiber that contributes to fullness and a magnet for cholesterol to be ejected to the toilet and not turn into belly fat. Now before you say 'More porkchop, less spinach is good for me', the meat you need to scrunch on should be white or fish meat (Steamed, boiled and if needed pan fryed and broiled). Eggs are also considered meat and a best source of protein if cooked properly for healthy reasons.

Definitely have to go with meat on this one for the biological reasons. Food holds 9 essential amino acids (out of 22) our bodies need, and we cannot synthesize them on our own. Meat can give us many more of these amino acids than vegetables can.

I'd choose meat...I'm not really into vegetables. I eat once in a while but I'd still choose meat.

I couldn't go without my meat! Chicken, lamb, fish- all important parts of my diet!Though with that said, I'd be very sad if spinach or potatoes left me.

Personally, Vegetables; they offer a wide variety of nutrients as opposed to meat which isn't all it's cracked up to be and digests very unpleasant ):

I eat both, balance build for the win. If i eat to much meat then i might get constipated so veggie and meat help keep the bowel movement going.

Personally i will eat one with the other. I do like meat more though, it's more filling than eating that much more in vegtibles to compensate for a steak or something.I will agree you do need both additionally though.. <3

I want both ^_^ But balance ^_^ Meat is a very good source of protein and I like its flavour. On the other hand, veggies have lots of nutrients.

Judging a person does not define who they are.
It defines who you are.

I only eat meat for I think it's sad to kill plants
healthy balance is the best way to go. everything we eat has once been alive, why discriminate between plants and animals?

Nothing beats flame grilled meat, it doesn't even really have to be seasoned, just try to eat a potato or corn with no butter or salt or pepper. By themselves their flavors are just too boring, but i've never seen anyone turn down a plain piece of cooked bacon.

I prefer both together as they make such delicious meals working as a team. Why choose between two things I enjoy?
