Yup, love em! They have tons of useful information which help me decide whether or not I want to buy a game or not.

I love them. If you get a game called 'Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth', you'll want to use a walkthrough eventually. If not, always. So it's a yes from me. :D

Really? I never used one, haha.I never really use walkthroughs unless I'm going through levels over and over again with little to no progress. In boss fights if I lose for the 7th time I have to look up a walkthrough to see what I'm supposedly aiming for. If I'm working on 100% i just keep them so I can can mark off which things are missing.

I like to use walktroughs only when I get stuck and my patience has been depleted by my non-stop over-thinking my brain. But I also like to contribute to a walktrough when I discover something new.

Really does depend on the game.I only cheat or get help once i have completed the game. Whats the point of buying a game if someone else is having all the fun for you?

i do like walkthroughs but not to use for every step of the way, just enough information to get through the part on which you are stuck, and then back to the unknown.

Yeah, I generally use them for most of a game. Especially the physical ones. They are so shiny...

The first time I play a game I try not to look at walkthroughs. However, as a fan of RPG series that hold many secrets that you'd never normally find (I'm looking at you, Tales Series...), they're helpful to have around, especially when these secrets show more of the story or character development/background. As such, walkthroughs are a "New Game+" sort of thing for me.

I finish the game on my own without help. I sometimes go back and read/watch walkthroughs that are humorous for games I've already completed.

Although I personally enjoy figuring the video game out myself without any help; there are some times where the walk through's are really helpful. So of course I like them.

When I was younger, the only way I would play games was with walkthroughs, heck if tetris had a walkthrough, which I'm sure it probably does, I would play even that with one. Now though I only use a walkthrough if absolutely necessary which is rarely, or if theres something special in the game I want that you would miss other wise.

While most of the time it's more fulfilling to finish a game without a walkthrough, in some of the more intense RPGs, finding all the secrets tends to require some research. One example is in Fire Emblem: The Sealed Sword, where not finding all the legendary weapons throughout the game causes you to miss a bunch of levels at the end, including the final boss. Even short of that, a lot of games have secrets that aren't really worth searching for manually for, like the photos in the GBC version of Link's Awakening or the locations of Pokemon in the later games where the monsters start to number at over 600.

Finishing a game without any help or other "outside" resources, can be one of the most rewarding experiences, so I don't like to use walkthroughs. To be fair, getting stuck in a game can really take the enjoyment out of a game, and so, I think walkthroughs are a necessary evil.... I guess....

Of course. As much as i like to think i don't need the help <.< I love video game walkthroughs, they've helped me in a couple of tight spots when i'm stuck on a level, boss or challenge. Some people say it's cheap to use walkthroughs, but i disagree. For one, a walkthrough is just written advise, or small hints on parts of the game. I never rely on a walkthrough more than once or twice. I use them when i'm stuck, and i've exhausted all alternatives.

Hmmm, I'd play the game myself, as much as I can, and read the walkthrough if stuck, or when I'm bored of/finished with the game to see what happens/if there is anything I missed.

I like to finish games on my own ^_^ Walkthroughs are very helpful if I'm stuck so badly on a game.

Judging a person does not define who they are.
It defines who you are.

I personally hate walkthroughs, why play a game if your just going to let someone do it for you? no fun in that. They are useful for the odd thing now and again but to follow an entire walkthrough is just sad to be honest

I use them at times, and at times do not. Mostly use them for games I have played through, so I can find all the secrets and cool things the next time. But I use some sort of trophy guides for normal ps3 games.

It really depends on the game. I personally don't like using them for most games. However, if a game has a ton of easily missed stuff / secret characters etc then I find them mildly useful since I love to be a completionist. Likewise, if it's a game that's more open ended like Guild Wars, and they're giving you a walkthrough on how to farm certain stuff / solo an area then that's fine too.

Most of the time though I just pretend they don't exist, since most of the fun in a game is exploring the world and finding out these things for yourself.
