I've played seven hours so far and it's fantastic. Easily one of the best DS games ever.

I am currently trying to get this game. Personally, I do not enjoy the turn-based rpgs that are usually on offer, however, with a good enough story, I can probably be pulled in. From what I have seen, it looks good, although a downside for me would have to be the fact that I probably won't ever meet someone with the game as well, and therefore won't be able to try the multiplayer aspect, which I have heard is an important part of the game experience.

I'm a few hours in gotten to the part where i can play multiplayer but i just waiting for my friends to catch upIt is a good turn based rpg, i've personally never played any DQ games but im really into this game, ill list off what i like so far for anyone getting into this game- Customizing Team - get to pick a class, make the character the way u want it so you can have 3 people following you, and can have 5 others in reserve- Streamline Battles - if you dont want to pick moves for your team you can set AI on them and they will pick their own thing (the AI is really good and has never failed me yet) you can set your team to follow what you want them to do - Battles - its not like the old-school dq games where you just see a static image of enemy and effects just happen, there is a game camera that goes around and you see your team actually moving around and attacking, it just makes the battles alot more interesting even though its not changing a thing-

I wouldn't go that far, TWEWY is easily better than this game, but it's pretty good itself. I've been playing for a while and it's pretty good.I've played seven hours so far and it's fantastic. Easily one of the best DS games ever.

I personally didn't like TWEWY very much. From what I've seen of DQIX it looks pretty good, though I haven't gotten around to playing it yet.I wouldn't go that far, TWEWY is easily better than this game, but it's pretty good itself. I've been playing for a while and it's pretty good.

I think that the only problem of the game is that are ''random'' characters, you give the name and so...but it really worth buying =D, I playing a lot and I don't get tired of it o/i have read a bunch of reviews on this game and i am a fan of final fantasy, i need to know if this game is worth buying?

This game was... alright. It really wasn't that great and it was way too grind heavy. Want levels? GRIND! Want money? GRIND! Want items? GRIND!I'd recommend it if you were a DQ fan and had a lot of time on your hands.

I want to get it, though I have other financial obligations. Some times arise where it's difficult to fight off a software purchase! :\Cool game . very good story. i think this is the best game in this year. ( i play japanese version already )

I just ordered it off the internet and I'm terrified that it's not going to be worth it.I can't find very much information about the different classes which is surprising given it's reputed popularity. I would have guessed that someone by now would have typed up the entire strategy guide and posted it on Gamefaqs by now (someone usually does).

it's a nice game I think so far. The storyline and the battle system really good. 
When I look at the character they almost the same like dragon ball? did they copied it or it was the same developer who created dragon ball? 
Anyone think square enix's game is the best?!

The game is awesome!I've put over 60 hours into it and I'm still playing. After you beat the final boss, you can farm treasure maps for the best gear in the game.The class system is nice too. Unlike Dragon Warrior 3, when you change classes you become pretty much a new hero, plus any abilities and + stats you got via the other vocations you've put points into. For example, my mage has stats that give him an additional 30 mana which carries between every class. Spells, sadly, don't carry over between jobs (vocations). You can change classes at anytime at Alltrades Abby after you've unlocked them. There's 12 in total, the 6 starting classes and 6 to unlock.

I got it for my DS, and I wouldn't say it's the best game ever. Story and characters are mediocre, however there is a ton of customization and quests. You can easily rack up 150 hours on this game.I also would like to know that, please someone who played help here.Thx

For some reason i cant get the rom working on my r4.Im the kind of guy who likes to play a game for ±1 hour before i go out and buy it ( wich I ALWAYS do when I like a game )So I'm not buying it before I have tried it.
