It depends whether you are a hardcore solo player that really prefers online, in the room by yourself type multiplayer, or you'd rather play with (usually four others) in the same room kinda party style. The former, perhaps the PS3 or XBOX360 is for you. The latter, the Wii is perfect for inhouse entertainment. That's the basic principle.Eradicate your problems by getting the Wii plus one other.

Should I feel bad if I want everything to become ice cream?

Like Auzzie stated, it depends on preference on how you'd play. If I had to rate the 3 systems' performances by great-good-ok I'd have to say:PS3: great single player, good online, ok multi player (there's barely a reason to buy a second controller)360: great online, good multi player, ok single player (You'll sooner be playing co-op story than single player)Wii: great multi player, good single player, ok online (Most games are meant for 4 players, online still needs work)You don't have to worry about the 8th(?) generation consoles coming out for a while, just because the consoles are updated online all the time. So, if you have enough friends and (yours or borrowed) enough controllers than the wii can be great to have with three other friends, and by now you don't have to worry about all the console start up games that weren't that good (although I will admit the first raving rabids was good)

In terms of Wii Online, you'd probably aim for Call of Duty, Monster Hunter Tri, Mario Kart Wii or the Conduit maybe. Super Smash Bros. Brawl online (strangely enough) has by far the worst online capabilities out of any Wii game.Wii online isn't as good as PS3 or XBOX360, but more than adequate.Chances are, online will determine half of your option. If not, I would go with PS3 for more at home stuff or XBOX if you want good graphics+online but still want party. In other words:Wii = Great Party, not so great onlineXBOX360 = okay party, okay onlinePS3 = not so great party, great online

I'm planning on getting a Wii just because how great a family system it is, and good for small parties or just having your friends over... Playing Mario kart, mario party, monster hunter tri, Wii Sports... you can never go wrong with wii sports. Super Smash Bros Brawl is pretty sick... especially online :awesome:

Depends on what you want for your game system. Are you a hardcore gamer, or are you just playing for relaxation? Do you want online, or just singleplayer?

This all depends on the question of how much of a fan of nintendo games you are. If you enjoy, mario platforms, metroid FPS and mostly nintendo platforms and wii exclusives (no more heroes, muramasa and madworld to name a few).

It really depends on the genres you like. If you like FPSes, car racing/simulations, etc. then a PS3/360 is probably best. The Wii is really good for 2D games, any type of platformer, and Nintendo franchises obviously. Is a Wii worth it? Sure if you like the types of games that are on it. Also, some pretty good games are now selling for pretty low prices these days (the non-Nintendo ones), so if you get a Wii, check those out. =).

If you have little bros/sis cousins ect. a wii is great. Has some great games for single player as well. (No more heroes, Arc Rise Fantasia, Red Steel ect). Its also pretty cheap compared to the other systems.

The Wii isnt really that competitive unelss you've got someone right there beside you to play it with . PS3 and XBox are the better option. SO... no.

if you're a FPS person then a wii isn't what you want. however there are "hardcore games" you can get for the wii that work and are fun

No. Wii's are crap. Buy a PS3 or 360. Both are equally good

It really depends on the kinds of games you like and how much interactivity you want with your games. Nintendo has been releasing a lot of its old school titles recently, so if you enjoyed those, then I would. It is also one of the cheaper systems.

They are a lot of fun. But it really depends on what you prefer. Which games you like and whether or not you like to play with friends a lot. If you want to see good graphics and play some shooting games you should definitely go Xbox 360 or PS3. Or if you really don't mind insane graphics and enjoy the Nintendo style games then you should pick up a Wii.
