I had heard of a possible Golden Sun 3 about what happened to Alex and the raising of the water clan I heard somethings about quite a long time ago just wanted to see if any of you knew anything about it

This should should probably be in the GBA general Forum Topics section and might be moved soon by the mods, just be careful to start new threads in the correct topic section (you put this under Help, Hints, Tips, ect... which doesn't have to do with a new Golden Sun I cried aloud with mirth and merriment)Anyway, I haven't heard that much about a new Golden Sun, but it would be really cool if they did make one. i am not fully sure about the content of the new golden sun.but i do know that it is anounced for nds.dont know the release date.

It seems like Golden Sun DS is going to be released this year if you look around at Google.comWould be nice to know what happened to Alex and his search for power. Hopefully they won't change the gameplay too much since that was one of the things I really enjoyed. Some new Psyenergies, some new Djinns and a new place to walk around is all I ask for

Yeah, really. They didn't change too much in Lost Age, but all the new content, new characters and a continuation of the storyline was perfect. In fact not changing much was probably one of the best moves. Golden Sun: The Lost Age was a shining (pun intended) example of a successful sequel. My only worry is that they didn't leave much room for another sequel at the end of Lost Age. They'll have to think up something entirely new for Golden Sun 3, which, by the way, has been confirmed as Golden Sun: Dark Dawn for the Nintendo DS, supposed to be released on holiday season 2010. Camelot is taking a serious gamble on this one though... When you've created something of such awesome scope, balance and just plain awesomeness as Golden Sun and its sequel, people accept that as the standard, and anything less could end up being a disaster. Still, though, with its good track record for these games, chances are equally good it'll be yet another awesome sequel.
Make sure you try Cheesy Gordita Crunch at Taco Bell. Best taco ever! And cheap to boot!

Actually, this would be more suited in the DS forum...moving topic....but this is an old one, don't post like that, ehh, but I suppose the rewinds caught yah. Anywho...I can't speak much for Golden Sun : The Dark Dawn, but I was a bit disapointed, I felt they could have done a bit more, but ehh. The graphics are off, and the summons are kind of sketchy, the game play seems lacking, yet I feel it is kinda solid....

Well lately i've just seen Shai posting alot of topics. Anyone going to warn him or is that ok? Topic spamming with just a few titles is really lame. I mean why would you do that? Just for some ROMS? Or just for some cool stuff in the gp store?

It hasn't been released yet, so I'll hold off my judgement until I've played it.But as I understand it, it takes place AFTER Lost Age, with the charas being descendants of 1 & 2's.

Golden sun is my most favorite game ever. GS1 and 2 never let me down so I hope the third one will go well too. I haven't searched about it yet (and after this I would) but I feel that the makers would carry an extremely great pressure because the first 2 did so good.

If Alex is not at least mentioned in this game then I am going to be angry and I would much rather him be the main antagonist. He is one of the coolest characters in the first two.

I know there are many Golden Sun fans out there, any many who haven't got the chance to play this awesome handheld RPG. For those who have played the previous enstallments, are you anticipating the new title? I've read a bit about it and it looks like it's gonna be based in the future (of the previous titles), playing as the offspring of the original characters. I beileve this game will complete it for an epic trilogy. What re your feelings, opions, ect.?

I've played the first two, and I'm really excited about this. The summons look good, and I have hope that the djinn and class system is improved. It was good before, but I think they could've made it a little different. It's supposed to take place with GS 1&2's descendants, so I wouldn't call it a trilogy, but whatevs....From what I understand of the story, the Golden Sun is going berserk or haywire (or something), and now the great grandkids have to deal with it. I wonder who the new villians will be?

I liked the djinn/class system from the first 2 games. I'm hopeful that they just expanded on it, maybe simplified it some. If they change the way it works though then it just wouldn't feel like a Golden Sun game to me. I friggen loved the first two games, and I've been waiting forever for this new one... can't wait for it to be released, it's going to be awesome. I have to say though they're taking their time releasing it. It was first shown at E3 2009 and a year on there hasn't been much headway...

From what i heard, the new series will be the next generation (Their children), saw the summons on some vid look superb as usual. I do hope there will be slight changes to the system too.

I recall a game on the gameboy advance that was a golden sun game which was freaking sweet and played tons of hours on it. I am sure this game will be of similar quality but of course with tons more content. Going to figure out when its about to come out though.

I was kinda disappointed by the previews in E3, in terms of graphics. I think they will remain true to the series and not falter in other aspects of the game, like story and gameplay. Those two are primarily the reasons I played the GS gba games at all.
