Posted ImageSo I just got back into playing games, and I decided to give this game a try since I haven't touched my PSP in months... and I am very surprised. I had given this game a try on PS2, but never even got to the first battle for some reason, but now that I've played it, I'm glad I did!! I've heard only good things about Persona 3 and 4, and this is one of the best PSP games I have ever played. A lot is cut out from the PS2 version like the animated cut scenes and walking around the world with your character (through your dorm, and school). The awesome fighting and persona system is still there and they added the ability to control your teammates directly. This game is a turn based RPG. If you are an RPG fan, or a Persona fan, you should definitely check this game out. They even made a girl character playable, and that adds a lot of new story from what I've heard, so if you've played the game before, try it as the girl now! I think it'll surely become one of the best PSP games of the year, check out the reviews: http://www.metacriti...ersona3portable

A lot is cut out from the PS2 version like the animated cut scenes and walking around the world with your character (through your dorm, and school). The awesome fighting and persona system is still there and untouched. This game is a turn based RPG. They even made the girl (Yukari) playable, and that adds a lot of new story from what I've heard, so if you've played the game before, try it as the girl now!

There are also a few additions to this that Persona 3 FES didn't have, such as 4 new persona and you get direct control over party members.Yukari isn't playable, she's still in the game as before, you play as a female main character instead of a male one. Apparently adds a bit of change, such as changing who some of the social links are and I guess an option to stop/skip some events.Pretty awesome game, it's uploaded if anyone wants to play it.I'm already 50 hours in, I had nothing to do during vacation... Gotta finish this since I picked up Persona 4 and want to get into that.

Oh, my mistake. I'm about 30 hours in, and I'm really like the story. I too, have downloaded Persona 4 to play on PCSX2 PS2 emulator. It runs at like 85-100% speed for me, but when it hits 85%, it gets sort of annoying. Very good series overall, though. I can't believe I picked it up so late... The soundtrack is also amazing!

If you thought this game was good I highly recommend Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey on the DS if you have one.It keeps the demon fusing elements but they're a much more central focus and participate in battles as actual party members. The only downside (or upside depending on opinion) is that there isn't any Social Link elements. You can make decisions that will change your alignment (Lawful, Chaotic, Neutral, etc) which is pretty interesting. It's also in first person when you explore. You can make weapons and armor and other stuff just like in Persona 3 as well.

Go big or go home. Because it's true. What do you have to lose?

I played this with the FeMC and I thought it was fun and incredibly adorable as well (the guy's social links). It was nice seeing things in a girl's POV. Shame they couldn't fit everything into the PSP, like animated cut scenes. Still highly recommended

I like this game a lot, but I have to admit it's getting just a bit repetitive. There's too many palette swaps of enemies, for example.
