Eh, it's a person's own choice if they want to get a tattoo.I've got not real problem with them, but I would never want one simply because I dislike needles and I don't have a clue what I would get in the first place.

A couple here and there is fine in my opinion. I have two myself, but are covered up when wearing a shirt. I wouldn't get any that would be visible in public.

I don't like tattoos. I'll never get them. I want my body to be nice and clean... well, for me putting one is vandalizing your body. Anything significant will belong only to my heart and mind. Sorry... that's my own opinion.

It depends on the tatoos. I find people with whole arms tatooed disgusting looking but like small ones are kinda cool. But I wonder somethings if people understand the kanji they put on themselves like I understand the kanji because I study Japanese but do people actually know what it means??

tattoos are cool. Atlest untill you realize you dont want yours anymore =S But if you are going to get inked get it over time and get an entire arm inked out, halfway through doesnt look good

I have no problems with tattoos (I'm even contemplating getting my first), but things should be considered, like aging. People can get as much tattoos as they want, especially since I like making up the story for the origin if I see a particularly interesting one

i can't stand when somebody gets a tattoo in a language that they can't even speak. they think it makes them look smart or cultured, but it just looks a little pretentious.

i like tattoos , i think if you get the right one then its really special and its their for life and that means something and its body art at the end of the day and im up for that personally , thought id add i havent got any myself yet but planning to soon

I have lots of tattoos, including my hands and neck. I am not a ratty person though, they were all done in a shop and by a great artist.

Tattoos are okay, but I just wouldn't want them on my body. I admit they do seem pretty cool, but I just wouldn't be able to picture myself with one.

I dont have any myself, which is odd becuase I have drawn over 30 for people I know or friends of those friends.Though, I would like to get a tattoo, I just cant think of a reason to get one right now. Perhaps when I have a life experience thatI want to remember and/or talk about to anyone who asks about the tattoo I will get one.Overall though, I have to say I like tattoos. Especally the history of them.

Like putting permanent marker on yourself... tattoos are for people who are sick in the head, and like to dirty up their body for the purpose of "art" or self belonging/aka self worth LMAO

Not a fan of tatoos. Just dont feel right having one. People that overdo tatoos scare me a bit but that is their choice. i like my body the way it is without tatoos.

I don't mind tattoos as long as they're not outrageous and have no meaning. A small tattoo on someone with a deep meaning or dedication to something they love is understandable. But like someone said earlier, if a person gets a tattoo in a language they don't speak or even understand, it's ridiculous. And then they get embarrased when someone asks them what it says and means.
I've got a tattoo on my ankle. The Japanese name of one of my aunts. She was my mentor and probably my best friend growing up. She passed away from a complication in the birth of who would have been my cousin.

I have designs on both wrists, plus a 3/4 sleeve on my right arm. Started collecting them when I was 17, I'd always been fascinated by them.
Unfortunately, despite how mainstream tats have got, there still seems to be a lot of people who look down on those of us with ink.
