That would depend on what you mean.I think investing in education is the best way. Investing a bit in some industry and infrastructure to help them develop is also good but Just donating as charity, Well I'm not so sure about that.

Well.. if your country in question can afford it why not.. It would be doing charity but on a larger scale then what we normally do... Sides if a poorer country develops with the money u gave and in time improves its economy u might be able to benefit from trade and sharing of resources with the country.. I am sure they most probably would remember the help you rendered them.

Well if you are talking about do countries like America have to fork over more money than we need to so that poor countries and can stay going. On that subject matter I'd agree on saying we do. Most countries that don't have much money don't have a good police system or military. Whenever someone picks them we have to make sure we step in. Therefore we are wasting our tax dollars on that adding up in a big budget bust that they can't reimburse us for.
