Personally, I say don't jump on the bandwagon unless you feel it's worth it to you. I believe it will be an incredible piece of technology and that I'll find a ton of enjoyment out of the games and movies I'll be able to play/watch with it.But if you can enjoy games without having the latest and greatest tech, and you enjoy games on the current system that don't have equivalent counterparts out for the new system (after the 3DS is released), then go ahead and wait.

I don't recommend getting N3DS. The reason is because I don't think they will release many 3D games..

By the time I've saved up enough for the 3DS and a handful of games to go with it, it'll have been out for at least 6 months. In that six months, I imagine that the Nintendo community will have a good idea of whether the hand-held is the greatness it claims it will be, and if the game lineup is worth investing in.Personally, I'd like to see a Yu-Gi-Oh! game on the 3DS, as monsters attacking out of the screen can not turn out to be anything other than awesomeness personified.

I would say dont just go out and get it because its the next new thing but rather get it if it has features that make it worth it to yourself.
