For me good classic jrpgs = SNES. Nothing can beat Final Fantasy 6, Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest Series (ok, they were ported to other consoles) or Der Langrisser (a great tRPG). And as for the question in title - FF6, definitely. The most complex and for me the best SNES game and one of the best in FF series.

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars! That was the first real RPG I ever played, it was so awesome. I think that was my first Sqaure game too.

It's hard to say which game I spent most of the time, but certainly I played a lot of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger and the FF series games. I must've spent dozens of hours in Final Fantasy VI as I leveled up my characters to Level 99! :foldarms:Probably I did the same with Final Fantasy IV.

For me chrono trigger is a great rpg on the snes because it has all the required elements to make anyone become addict. There is also final fantasy 3 in which you get many playable characters which make the game very interesting as every gamer will choose their player according to the gaming stragery and there is also the morphs which is a very interesting way to get new magic powers as each morphs has its own skills and you have to try different morphs in order to make your characters have a good balance of powers like healing and magic attack which is very important if you want to finish the game

I'd have to say Earthbound, all the way. "The future has been destroyed by Giygas. Are you a bad enough dude to save the future?"

I would have to say Secret of Mana. It was the longest RPG and I spent ages on it, especially seeing as I didn't get the hang of the gameplay style. I eventually got used to it, though.

For me it would definitely be Mario RPG since I don't normally play serious RPGs and the whole vibe of the mario rpg's is funny and it's easy for people like me to play. I still think that Paper mario the thousand year door or mario and luigi: Bowsers inside story are the best in this sub series so far

ima havta go with final fantasy 6. it's a tough choice for me cuz the snes had so many epic rpg's, but ff6 is prob the most engaging experience out of all of em. the story was awesome and there was a bunch of stuff to do, so i spent a lotta time playing it—long into the night, tired as hell, my eyes bloodshot, but loving every minute of it. hmm.... i feel like playing some snes roms now

I really do have to say just about any RPG for the SNES is addictive and worth playing over and over. To pick a favorite would be nearly impossible. The SNES was the golden age for Squaresoft in particular, with the greatest entries in the Final Fantasy series, as well as Mother (Earthbound) and Bahamut Lagoon. Not to mention Super Mario RPG. Definitely a spiritual precursor to some other great RPG's. Overall, my first will always be my favorite, though. I can remember sitting up all night in 2nd grade playing through. Final Fantasy 6. So many memories.

FF6 simply for being the best FF overall and only rivaled by Chrono Trigger; at that point it's just preference
