I think Ruby/Sapphire is when it started to get bad. 4th gen made a lot of improvements, and I see 5th generation making many improvements as well. The starters do look pretty bad, but I believe the Pokemon revealed so far look better than those from the 3rd and 4th generation. Hopefully we will be able to trade from our PCs (to trade more than 6 at a time). The online interaction seems cool as well. Maybe we will be able to battle trainers as we go and not have to formally set up the battles with friend codes and all of that business.I've checked it out at Serebii, and I've gotta say that the developers of Pokemon are running out of ideas, creating more and more obnoxious-looking pokemon. Up till Platinum it was okay, but you have to see the starter pokemon of Black & White. A duck, pig and... bear-penguin? You've got to be kidding. I won't be surprised if Black & White is the last pokemon series.

That is the only reason I ever feel that a DS is better than an emulator. With VBAlink The 3rd gen was pretty fun, I never got around to the 4th because Desmume didn't have any link support yet and so, It was boringThe online interaction seems cool as well. 4th gen is laggy for me on emulation. So i rather play in on hard copy. What is VBAlink? You can trade and stuff between 2 VBAs?That is the only reason I ever feel that a DS is better than an emulator. I honestly think that all generations have horribly designed Pokemon. Like Magnetron for example, three Magenmite super glued together, not very creative on the designer's part.I'm excited for this I already have reserved my import for Pokemon White. I'm getting Pokemon Black when it comes to American shores.

I can't wait for Black & White, considering I've liked pokemon since I was young. That and ever since the 2nd generation, they have been getting worse and worse in my opinion. Half of the pokemon being created are either evolved forms or babys of previous pokemon, or just look stupid. Black & White started to give me hope, considering it seems it will be different than the previous games. However, I may be starting to second guess myself. I don't know if anyone has been following, but the evolved forms of the Starters recently were shown. I'm a bit confused as to how the water starter evolved into something that looks just like him and then his third form looks completely 100% different? That and the fire starter/evos just look...weird?So my thoughts are kind of half and half as of now with the pokemon I've seen thus far with Black & White.

Im sure there will be 'good pokemon', im jsut worried about their looks. None of them look cool, they all look strange and dumb in my opinion. The playable people dont look to good either, I HATE HATS! I hope in B&W we can change what our person looks like.Im pretty excited, and i hope to get some good pokemon from black and white.

Don't bother with it. Antipiracy prevents getting EXP this time. Guess we'll have to use AR for rare candies or wait for the patch.

No. You can't gain exp at all. Maybe for the tutorial but after that, there's no more exp gain. Gamefreak's trolled us pretty hard this lolHopefully there'll be a patch made soon...I hear you can't level until you finish the tutorial.

Uhh...there is no tutorial ...there never have been any ...serebii got their hand on a Rom and spread that rumor ..but fact is from the first battle your supposed to receive Xp from defeating Smugleaf and Piplup2.0 but you don't ....bcoz of the Anti Piracybut nonetheless the internet is Powaful! the patched rom is already outuh, you can't get exp for your pokemon until you finish the tutorial.
