Fire or Electric, because they tend to be the fastest. Also Dragons for their epic hax (Garchomp

Well, all my best Pokemon are Dragon types, so I guess I'd have to say Dragon.

my favorite type would actually be electric, ghost, and dragon. Electric and dragon goes really fast and ghost is resistant to most types like normal.

Always loved water types since gen 1, so would have to go with that. For typing reasons, ghost/dark simply for the no weaknesses thing, so shame we haven't gotten a decent wall yet unless you want to count spiritomb.

Yay go Psychics and Dark types :)Argh I exactly hate dragon types now -_-everytime i see on it's like OMG die die dieit must be a childhood thingI remember fighting the elite fours who had dragon type pokemons and I'd always died cause I didn't know at that time I could have just used an Ice type and beat the hell out of those idiots >

They've all got their advantages and disadvantages so it's hard to decide on just one IMO. In the end I voted for Water/Ice though. It's hard to explain but I guess it's because of the Pokémon designs in general and the many Water/Ice moves I like (Surf is awesome!).

My favorite type is Water. I don't know why, but ever since I picked Squirtle as my starting Pokémon, I've been hooked. There's no question that overall, they're the underdog; they have weaknesses to both Plant and Electric types. But at the same time, for raw power, you can't top a fully-evolved Blastoise in G/S/C with Hydro Pump, Bite, and Dig. Yep, Wartortle can learn Dig, which means that moving forwards, Blastoise can have three (or four) elements in his moveset. Plus, Dig takes out that Electric weakness handily, so all you have to worry about is dealing with Plant-type monsters.Add to that the sheer range of kinds included in Water, from Goldeen to Gyarados, from Vaporeon to Lanturn, and you have for yourself one element that can become the base of a solid team.

I just simply love Fire types. Charizard, Typhlosion, Blaziken, Infernape are all bosses, because I discovered that if you only train them, you can defeat the entire game. Well, that goes for all starters, but I just like Fire types a lot. Especially Arcanine. That poofy fur looks so soft...

In every Pokemon game I've ever played, my team always ends up consisting of normal, flying, ground and ice types, so I'mma have to go with those.

Fire and Dragon. It will be totally overpowering if it is both. Fire has like the best damage output and dragon is well, just overpowering on its own. i mean look at magikarp for a sec, the moment it evolves from a fish to a dragon, the stats went from "uhh.. okay..." to "OMG! HOLY MOTHER OF ALL GODS!". so yea, proved my point.. =]
