Depending on where I am does depend on what I say. To put a potential story into a single sentence, I either say 'Excuse me!' or 'Someone's talking about me...'... Yeah, I have a random notion that me sneezing means that someone is talking about me behind my back. Which isn't good because I sneeze often!

Most of the time after someone sneezes I don't say anything. I do say, "Bless you..." sometimes.

In Japanese class, we are taught to say nothing, as it would bring attention to the fact that it happened (and embarass the sneezer). But my English-speaking German-descended family says Gesundheit. Sometimes "bless you" is also used, as a derivative of "God bless you" up here in secular Seattle.

I personally say "Bless you" as that was how I was taught, like many others, I'm sure. Though, I do hear people say Gesundheit every now and then. I guess it's about preference.

I say bless you because it a tradition to me now. It the only thing i said to people whenever they sneeze and i guess that was from when i was little.
