I've already visited Hokkaido once before the disaster struck. It struck me as one of the most beautiful places i've ever visited. And i live in the UK where 95% of the time there's always cloudy or rain. Personally though i would love to live there forever because of the scenery and the friendly people. The games, girls and the technology aspect is not everything in Japan! You've got to look deeper at the country itself.

I would love to go to Japan...Disasters aren't gonna scare me from an opportunity to visit a foreign country. I'd even help out with the foreign aid efforts if I had to. Tokyo's always been one of those cities that I've wanted to visit for the sake of visiting every single major Asian city because I absolutely love city life.Disasters happen all over the world. If everybody had that "It's too dangerous" mentality, we'd be cooped up in our homes all day with nothing to do.

Well i used to think of going to japan but now that the tsunami and the earthquake i would not want to go there. But before i would want to go there just to see how life is in japan. The simularities and the difference. I would love to see their games stores because then i would see all the things that would be coming out in the U.S before anyone else even knows about it. Other than games and the scenary i would like to go to because of their food. I love japaneese food. its so delicious. Thier fried rice and some of their other dishes. I think Japan would be a wonderful place after they fix the radiaion and all the damages from the earthquake and the tsunami.

I think people should go there and help out. The earthquake has been quite devastating and it would be nice if more people from foreign areas helped out with the future recovery

I have, but it ultimately doesn't appeal to me. It would be cool to see all of the neat tings and the way they live, but I really don't want to have to put up with their shenanigans and tom foolery in their every day ways of life.

I totally agree. One my of my goals is to go to Japan and live there for some time, and the only reason is because I love manga/anime, and I want to learn their language ^^ I also love the nature and scenery there, and would want to see it in real life.

Japan: Cyberpunk Now.I'd love to go someday (probably not til after they recover from the quake/radiation) just to visit, but not until I've learned enough Japanese to be able to wander Tokyo on my own.

Even after this horrible earthquake and tsunami, I will still go to visit Japan. I always wanted to visit Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Okinawa, etc. I also wanted to take in the culture and to learn different things. The huge plus is that I'd be able to attempt to try to do the nightlife in Tokyo, which is quite legendary.

I would want to go to Japan, but only after they have recovered from the earthquake and radiation. They have pokemon, electronics, and they have nintendo!! I would probably blow off all my money there. Not only that, they also have amazing buildings (well, they had amazing buildings), so there's another plus right there.

Here is a question to ponder. What happens to contest that are giving out an all expense paid trip to japan? Do the winners take the ticket or exchange it for something else?

Most contest have fine print that state they reserve the right to switch out a trip like that with equal cash value, or if they are really sneaky they have extra fine print that can even take away prize...but lets try not to stray from topic to much Galdion would you go to japan?

I do enjoy most of the media over there, but most of my good friends are Japanese so I would go to visit them and do some sight-seeing.

i would go to japan to enjoy some sushi and the usual video games that people want but have to get questionable looks when the genre's mentioned. They also have a certain industry that makes Japanese videos that are hard to get at the moment and recently, i want to help some people in japan.

If it was feasible then I would be quite happy to have a go at living in Japan. My major reason being that my ex gf lives there and the reason we broke up was because she had to return to Japan. Although at the same time, I am not sure how applicable my answer is. For if she happened to be living in U.S.A, South Korea or France my moving preference would change accordingly. There is after all little else in Japan that compels me to desire moving there.
