I've never really been on a Social networking site before and It really doesn't attract me much, I like the forums here and think forums are a nice place to have discussions on all kinds of stuff. If I was to change something about a social networking site, It would be a forum in which some groups can add their own subforums so they can have their own private discussions. The current social networking system doesn't have much to do if you live in a place like me where people aren't on the internet often. So nobody really starts a meaningful conversation other than on the rare occassion when both people are simultaneously active. Living in this part of the world is really different to the rest of the world, The whole thing is different so i thought it would be cool to have a forum on there to have discussions on stuff which affects us,...Your turn.

If i had to add one thing to social networking sites it would be the ability to text someone from the site, instead of just posting it on their wall. Would save money and effort being able to do it from the internet instead of my mobile phone.

I would add... A vanishing button so all the sites would vanish! I hate them, like you said forums here are awesome! In all truth.. Im sick and tired getting spam mails from face 'freak' book saying stuff like "some idiotic noob of ours has done something crappy you wont care about, heres a spam mail to annoy you" They should have a way for non users to sign up to not get spam mails!

I would definitely add a new feature that allows you to see who all is online, like this site where it says under each memberInstead of seeing what friend is online, you can see who all in general is online or off just with a little icon under ur avatar/ profile pic.

I'm going to post my opinion in relation to the only social networking site I use: Facebook. My suggestion: A Dislike Button. It's alright that facebook wants to stay positive and have a positive attitude but there needs to be moderation. No offence to anyone but there are some things that I see on facebook stuses that make me not want to live on this planet anymore.
