How much better is the Dsi XL from the dsi? Size alone is better but how about everything else?

I rather use a dsi than a dsi xl because it is portable and the sprites are normal.

My friend has had both, and said they were pretty much the same. I wouldn't get either unless I had no other DS and found one for a cheap price. I was surpised at just how big the XL was though when I saw it. It couldn't even fit in my friend's pocket, which is excessive.

the XL is massive!!! i saw one in store a while back and i was surprised how big it wasi'd rather the XL as i don't really like the exclusives that the DSi has, but if you can wait a bit longer get the 3DS

I posted in the other thread about why DSi XL isn't that great. 2nd pagehttp://www.dgemu.com...w...59320&st=30but hey, let me tell you something-as mentioned, DSi XL is not portable,3 free brainage downloads, added size,(weight), and faster processing are not worth the money and bulk, trust me.It plays the same exact games as DSi, so the larger screens- although cool-> will be more pixel-ated. It really ain't that great. It's fun, but there's not enough benefits to something that costs so much more. DSi XL is also big, and easier to scratch- it doesn't have a matte scratch-resistant top, so it won't look as good with wear, unlike DSi. Lastly, you can't carry the stylus anywhere since it won't fit on the DS(the giant stylus that is). just get a DSi or 3DS, DSi was definitely worthwhile upgrade from DS lite.also- the midnite blue DSi XL looks awesome- but this is the only compliment I can give that system...

To me they are both about the same, but for sure I like the bigger size screen. Since I have to wear glasses, it's better to see with a bigger screen.As far as functionality, I like the fact that XL have the pre-loaded games.So, if I have to say which one I like better, it would be the XL.Love-NDS

I think the DSiXl is too big to stay in the pocket, but worth it, because everyone can see my game and have fun watching me die or win an important battle.
