I smacked the R button so hard it wouldn't "pop back up" one day. I was kinda miffed because I thought I seriously broke it and didn't have the money for another one. I was able to "pop it back out" by simply fiddling with it, pressing it with different pressure. So I guess it was just stuck more than busted. It's getting real old now, so I'm a lot more gentle with it ;)

No, I haven't. My games barely require the use of R and L buttons, anyway. XD

I've had both my GBA-SP and my DS lose their L&R functionality. I played way to much Fire Emblem back in the day, and constantly moving from unit to unit checking stats proved to be too much for my SP to handle, so i started using my DS to play GBA titles... That worked out well XD

yea actually.. my old sp's L button stopped working after a while.. im not too sure why, because i never dropped it or smashed it or anything.. i may have been too rough, but ive learned my lesson from that and now treat my ds with much more respect. i hope that by pressing the L and R buttons without so much force, that ill be able to preserve their effectiveness... wish me luck!
