I don't care much about the way i look so I'm sure I wouldn't. I don't like the concept of being able to make something more beautiful. There are different kind s of beauty and I enjoy being able to see them all. So would any of you go for a cosmetic surgery?

I dont think any human should ever feel the need for this. People should accept who they are, not what they think others want. The only time i think anyone should have cosmetic surgery is if they have been hurt beyond the human abilities of healing.. example, a man coming back from war after a mine blast and living. That is something that they would want, same with anyone whos been in some kind of near death experience.surgery for beauty, is just wrong. There is no need for it.

Yeah, like the poster before me said, I'd get plastic surgery if my face was damaged in an accident, but I don't see the need for it otherwise. Besides, I've seen people get the procedure done, and it's disgusting.

Hmm. Only if I was disfigured, and even then only if even my friends think I'm a freak.

Pretty much demonicfury hit it right on the head. If I was disfigured I would probably think about it, but nothing on me is disfigured so as of right now, I wouldn't.

Beauty, I'll agree with, it's pointless and tends to cause more issues than it solves. And I'll agree with using it to fix injuries beyond our ability to heal. But what of those us who just don't feel comfortable in their bodies? Not thinking our nose is too big or too small, or that certain... abdominal equipment needs enhancing. I mean those of us trapped on two legs but feeling as though we should have four, or feel awkward with five fingers, or nails instead of claws, skin instead of fur or scales... your statement only covers people who offer their desires as a human that thinks like a primate. Some of us think more like quadrupeds, more like pack animals.

I'm pretty sure i won't harm my body in that way. Even though, just like the demonic guy said, if i was harshly disfigured, i might give it a shot. If i would look like i look like now, i'd let it pass.

No thanks. Cosmetic surgery is way expensive and I don't really need it to become attractive. There are many ways to become pretty without spending at least thousand bucks - eat right, exercise daily and never forget to take rest.

I have to play a bit of a devil's advocate. While I currently wouldn't consider having cosmetic surgery, there's been times in my life when I would've jumped at the chance if I'd had the money. It's not exactly a secret that there's a certain look that's considered attractive, and if you don't fit the sterotype then you're not good looking. If you're unattractive, you become an early target of teasing a bullying. That tends to leave a very negative impact on the psycological and emotional well-being of the person. If it's in someone's power to fix something that they percieve to be "wrong" with them, and if it would have a positive impact on their life, then I don't see why we should frown on someone's decision to do so. Ideally, we'd be able to accept someone for who they are regardless of their appearance. In reality I don't think it will ever quite happen.Others have already mentioned that cosmetic surgery would be acceptable for someone who's been severely disfigured, but there are more ways to be disfigured than in combat. The example I'm thinking of are women who have a mastectomy or double mastectomy because of breast cancer. The use of appropriate padding hides this disfigurement without resorting to surgery. However, it still doesn't address the issue that these women's physical bodies have been disfigured. Is it worth the risk of surgery to correct their appearance when a non-surgical method suffices? I think it's perfectly acceptable for them to have breast implants to restore them to how they feel they should look. Others may or may not agree with me.

I don't care about my looks enough to change them. If this is what God gave me, then so be it. I'll just take what I'm given.

It is tough to say never. But I look at the results of cosmetic surgeries; it is hideous. People look like barbie and ken dolls. I know that there are some successes but I think cosmetic surgeries are among the least successful surgeries there are. And when the results are disastrous they are disastrous. I believe cosmetic surgery should be more for the people need it. Deformed at birth, unfortunate accident, degenerative diseases are the type of things people should get cosmetic surgeries for.So I would say I wouldn't have cosmetic surgery, but you never know what can happen.

Yes, yes I would get some plastic surgery. I have a list which I'm not going to post but it's mostly around the face, things I see that annoy me certain days.It doesn't have to be so extreme, it might just be to remove some wrinkles, but I also think that once you start and start seeing the change it can accomplish, you have to watch out for a little thing called addiction.I don't think it's wrong to get plastic surgery, everyone can do what they want with their body as long as they are aware of what the outcome might be.

No because it might go wrong; you may have side effects from it; you might not like it; or it may move accidently if you're a woman with breast implants e.g. Alicia Douvall. Mind you it makes the person ugly if they go to the extreme like the aforementioned.

Nah i would not have any cosmetic surgery. I dont find it necessary because i know inner beauty is much better than outer beauty. You can change your appearance and what not but you will always be the same inside. I dont need to look any different because i am comfortable in my own skin.
