Later on, Morrowind came in and RuneScape came in.
I've enjoyed all of them. Now, it's mostly RuneScape and once in a while Zeus: Matser of Olympus and Rollercoaster Tycoon.

After that, X-Com series (UFO, Deep and Apocalypse), and other started joining. I put it down eventually for console gaming, but much later when I heard of Steam...
While my library is almost nothing but discounted games, if it was the full cost, steamcalculator estimates my game collection at over £2000. Yikes!

Then we got newer computers and we had super word muncher and Math Blaster. All of these were at my school as you might have noticed from the theme, though I did have a Commodore 64 computer and some pretty good games that I couldn't figure out there. The only one from that batch I remember is Maniac Mansion.

The game that has never died with me is Simtower, even with more updated versions, they never really match the cleanliness of the design (given that the original design does have a bunch of glaring flaws in system balancing).

Journeyman Project Turbo and Star Trek: Judgement Rites...my two favorite classic PC games.
Here's a summary of Journeyman Project Turbo, one of my favorite classic PC games. The game was made in the mid-90's, but it was incredibly well-done and featured stunning hi-res 3D graphics (It was praised for its graphics, music, interactive interface, and storyline. The game was made by Presto Studios and Sanctuary Woods.)
You play as Gage Blackwood, Agent 5 of the TSA (Temporal Security Annex), whose mission is to prevent disruptions of the flow of time, since time travel is a reality in the game. Agent Blackwood is referred to as Agent 5 throughout the game, but his name is revealed in the instructions that tell the story of the game. The game starts with you waking up in your apartment on the flying metropolis of Caldoria in the year 2318. After listening to the morning news on your radio, you must go to the Global Transporter and report to work at the TSA. After you arrive at work, you go to your station and begin monitoring the time flow for signs of trouble. Soon, you spot a disturbance, and you head to the bio-suit generator to don your temporal armor, which will protect you from the stresses of time travel. After that, you head 65 million years into the past to retrieve the TSA log disk, which was placed there to prevent it from being messed up by temporal anomalies. Once you find out what's going on, you must put a stop to it. After checking out the problem at the TSA, you must once again head through time. First stop, the Mars Morimoto Colony in 2185, where you must stop an enemy robot called Ares from destroying a scout ship sent by the Cyrollans, a peaceful alien race of the Symbiotry of Peaceful Beings. Next stop is the World peace conference in Sydney, Australia in 2310, where you must stop a robot called Mercury from killing Enrique Castille, a scientist who eventually persuades Earth's leaders to agree to allow the Cyrollans to visit them and invite them to join the Symbiotry of Peaceful Beings. Next, its off to an undersea NORAD base in the year 2112 to stop a robot named Poseidon from launching a nuclear missile and detonating it over Gorbestan, Russia, thus provoking WWIII. After all is said and done, you must head back to Caldoria, head to the Rooftop observatory, use the card bomb you got on the Mars Colony to blow open the locked door, then use the Stun Gun that you got after stopping Mercury to stop Elliot Sinclair from killing the Cyrollan Ambassador. After you stop him, Sinclair is arrested, Earth is inducted into the Symbiotry of Peaceful Beings, and Agent Blackwood is promoted, and he goes to await his next mission.
Here's a Youtube vid of gameplay footage:
I also remember Oregon Trail, Math Blasters, and Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego.

This list of games is not in order of chronological date, but just as I remember them,
.
My first game was Doom 2 back in the early 90s (I was, uhh... 5. It scared me like crazy but I felt driven to keep playing, haha). From there I played Descent 1 and 2, Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 and 2, Diablo 1 and 2, Star Wars: Dark Forces and Yoda Stories (I'm a massive SW fan,
) and the list kept growing,
.

The games i grew up with are Diablo 2 and Counter Strike 1.5. Been playing those games on and off for most of my life. Now most people moved to Counter Strike GO and from watching video of it, it does not seem the much different from 1.6. I believe it is still 2 great games to play but of course most people went and played the newer version of each of the games. I dont really play much console games. more of a computer games guy. Looking back graphics of games has gone a long way.

Ever played MDK, Bedlam, Caesar 2 and Tempest 2000?
I've recently recovered them all. Fun, fun nostalgic times ahead.

I don't actually remember what the first PC game I played was, but looking back I can remember Jazz Jackrabbit 2, that was a great little platformer. Diablo II also, although I think I only ever had the demo of that. Obviously the Monkey Island games - anyone who hasn't experienced these really ought to!
Of course, there were crappy games I played as well - I had Disney's 101 Dalmations or something along those lines, as well as Catz/Dogz I think!
I kind of lost grip with PC gaming for a long time, I only used it for emulation - I remember playing VERY early English patches of Pokemon Gold/Silver when they were released in Japan ![]()

I played a lot of DOS games early on, too many to remember, Lemmings, Commander Keen, Duke Nukem. Then I got into early FPS like Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Quake, and others.
But I got the most mileage out of Duke Nukem 3D and X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter probably. Really good games.

Yay DOS games!
Tank Wars (set ten computer players to "Mr. Stupid" for a comedy show)
Duke Nukem 1, especially episode 1 because I had trouble installing episodes 2 and 3. Or, should I say, "Duke Nukum", because it was spelled that way.
Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure
Castle of Dr. Brain
Island of Dr. Brain
EcoQuest: the Search for Cetus
The Even More Incredible Machine
Dark Ages
Midnight Rescue
Math Rabbit, Reader Rabbit, and Math Blaster
Commander Keen (pretty much the entire series; had trouble getting Keen Dreams to install right though)
