I kinda liked CatDog (it was a classic since 1998), Rocko's Modern Life and Fairly Oddparents.I think Ricky Sprocket: Showbiz Boy is also great.To tell the truth, peteian, NO! Avatar is technically NOT an animé as it is not made in Japan.

1. Rocko's Modern Life - Funny, witty, has sexual innuendo... What's not to like about this show?2. Avatar the Last Airbender - Incredible storyline, complex characters, amazing action scenes... Comes in at a close number 2.3. Hey Arnold! - One of my favorites as a kid... This show has a lot of nostalgia for me.4. Doug - I grew up with the ABC Disney version, but I learned to LOVE the Nick version. Both were great, but I do prefer the Nick version over the Disney one.5. Spongebob Squarepants - Used to be very funny, but lately it seems to focus too much on Plankton stealing the Krabby Patty secret formula or Spongebob and Patrick interacting with Squidward. The show is still somewhat watchable, but has gone downhill in recent years.Homerable mentions:Ren & Stimpy, Angry Beavers, Invader Zim, and Fairly Odd Parents

I had a few that I liked. There was Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, Rugrats, Spongebob and Hey Arnold.Ren & Stimpy was just straight up wackiness. I remember this one episode where they were bees or some kind of insects, and they had to mine eye crust from a giant to become the queen. Ren worked all night and obtained a huge pile of the stuff, so he had to eat twice his weight in Royal Jelly and lay eggs. It was weird. And who can forget the Happy Happy Joy Joy episode with the Happy Helmet? Or the one where Stimpy goes through Puberty?For Rocko, I remember the episode where a satellite ruins his kitchen, but he is having a dinner party in a week or so. Then this famous handyman guy makes every room in his house into a bathroom. That was awesome too. There was also the episode where everything at this Ski Lodge was $5, and the one with the Dog Catcher, and the one where Filbert became unlucky and the one with the Dentist. I also liked the one with Mr. Bighead and the Magic Meatball.Doug was kind of cool just because you could see this sort of thing really happening. The one where they found out that Skeeter was some kind of genius was the one I remember, but there was also the one with Superheroes and the one where Doug lost his Journal and Roger found it. Rugrats always had situations where they just didn't get it. I know that they were babies, but there was the one where they thought Angelica became a glass statue, the one where Chuckie's dad won the lottery, the one with the pool, the one with that creepy robot doll, the one where Chuckie was never born, the one with the fog, and the list goes on.For Spongebob, the first one where he finds a spatula that has port and starboard attachments and turbo drive is still one of my favorites. I also like Chocolate with Nuts and the one where Spongebob is stuck in Rock Bottom and the one where Spongebob gets the suds.Hey Arnold also had situations that were possible, but unlikely. Everything in the guy's room could be operated with a remote. Mr. Kakashka trying to learn how to read was cool, as was the one with Stickball and the one where Helga had Mononucleosis.
