I'm a sucker for Oshawott in the same way I was for Squirtle, but I love otters more than turtles. I will say the Squirtle's evolutions (Wartortle, Blastoise) get cooler and cooler, while Samurott isn't really as cool as Dewott...though it has a cooler name. Cobalion is pretty awesome, and Sawsbuck. I like the ones that look like animals, not like ice cream cones or other objects, obviously.

I personally prefer Galvantula. Bug/Electric is a pretty neat typing which nullifies some of each others' weaknesses (though it would've made a bigger difference if it weren't so squishy). Compound Eyes allows it to hit hard and consistently with STAB Thunder, and the fact that it can learn Energy Ball/Giga Drain helps it cover against Ground types that are immune to its electric attacks. Also, its pre-evolution Joltik is adorable.

While my favorite design is that of Carracosta, my favorite in practice is Leavanny. Yes, double weakness to fire is pretty bad, but there aren't really that many fire types in Gen. V that I can remember. Also, Joltik is supremely adorable.
