I don't like failure but I can accept it easily. Is that a good thing? I mean, I'm a very calm person and I don't know if having no pressure at all would do me something good in the future. Failure has got to have some effect on me but sadly, it doesn't have any. I want it to become a motivation but no, it doesn't work. I'm hopeless. Maybe I'll just have to find some positive effect that failure brings me and turn it to motivation. Hope it works. How about you? How do you deal with failure?

Nice questionNegatively for the first 2-5 days and then I start ignoring it but keep it in mind for the next time I come into such a situation. Those first 2 days are horrible as you keep going over it again and again. I tend to do nothing those days to try to get out of it as soon as possible. I become perfectly normal again after the 5 days. If its something passionate about that I failed Then I consider it a challenge I have to beat the next time it comes around and I often do.As to using failure as motivation, I try but it's effect wares off in 2 weeks or a month.

I don't think failure would make you stronger at all, failure may CORRECT someone, but not make him stronger, only SUCCESS is able to do such a thing.

Well, you should just "disassociate" yourself from the feeling and look the particular failure on a 3rd party view. that's what I do lol. And after living for like 20 years of my life. I find that there's a no "total" failure, meaning there's still lot's of thing that's needed to be done in life. So just learn from your mistakes and suck it up, move on XD

I take failure very badly, but once I accept it I get back up and try even harder.

well failure for me is an opportunity, not to do the same thing twice. it doesn't affect [or change] my creed about that thing where i failed at. it's still the same, only that i failed. it doesn't necessarily mean that it should affect your point of view. it should just be like a guideline on what you should and shouldn't do the next time around. it's just like this: you can't achieve success without any failure. it's like finishing school without any grade lower than a 100. :good: it may not motivate you for the things you'll be doing next, but it should enlighten you on how to do things.and besides, you don't get remembered for your petty failures, but by your success.just like His Airness [Michael Jordan] . he had numerous tasks of doing a buzzer beater to win a game, but how many times did he actually make it? he didn't get known for those shots he failed to take, but by the shots that he successfully made. so there, failure should just be there to think about how you do in that certain kind of situation.

failure generally gets me pissed off. i hate losing and not getting what i want when i want it. but moments of failure are inevitable: no human can be perfect. so i jus use the failure to teach me valuable lessons

Calmness is a good thing. From what I've seen it's probably better than letting it get to you too much. I mean, sure, you can become supremely unaffected, but seeing how you're actually concerned about this, it should be fine. After all, when you're calm it means that you're in control. You get to decide what to do, rather than letting things happen and affect and get to you. That's generally a good thing! As for me, it gets to me more than it should, but it all wears off eventually anyway.

the way that i think of it, we will die eventually so i will always give it my all to make life worth while. sure it is depressing when you fail but i like to try harder to get rid of that depressing feeling

I actually enjoy failing more than i do succeeding, I feel like I learn more when I fail even if what I failed at wasn't that bright of an idea to begin with.

Depends on what I failed. I mean, a lot of times I can see the failure coming and that it's inevitable, but I still try of course. That Failure doesn't even affect me.There is failure when I feel like I might succeed or fail, which is effective but doesn't hold out. There is failure when I know I can succeed but pull a stupid move and it is reversed and I fail. That is the kind that feels like I just got punched in the face. Usually lasts about 2-3 Days, more or less.

If I failed to install or do something to my computer, I'd have no confidence of doing it again. The same might be said for a lot of things I failed at. Can't think of another one right now.

Even when I know failures are a fact of life, I still get upset, depending on the severity of the situation. If I lose to someone in a game, I'm fine. If I can't do something that is easily accomplished by someone else, I feel terrible. But any sense of failure goes away after a day, unless it's something that truely bothers me.

I tend to get frustrated at failure, but just like each joke has a bit of truth to it, so does each failure have the answer to succeeding. Basically, every time I fail at something, I try tofind and fix what I did wrong and keep at it until I get it right. The next time, I shouldn't make a mistake like it again.

Frankly, failure doesn't bother me at all. You don't always succeed on the first try. In fact, it does also give me a sense of accomplishment. It's like, 'today, I learned that Harry Potter has nothing to do with chemistry.'

Some things I don't really mind failure in, but other things I get really worked up.If its like, a game between me and a friend, I might not talk to them for a bit.Failure is an inevitable part of life- someones gotta lose for someone else to win, but in general, if you aren't pissed off about failure then you don't care enough about the thing you're failing.

If it's something important, I really can't handle failure well at all. I'll beat myself up over it constantly, and replay in my mind what I couldve done better. It's rough, but I hope I can build some confidence and bounce back from a failure.

Well it makes me stronger. It actually does since it motivates me to work harder. People sometimes have to fail in order to suceed and that what happen in my case.

It sorta depends on what I fail on; if its a major thing that results in really drastic events, then I would probably break down and never attempt to do anything like it again. If it wasn't too big, I would just keep trying and get back on my feet again.
