I do not know if positive thinking always brings about positive results, but I know it brings about more optimistic results. It all depends on what you consider positive results. If you always try to stay positive and take everything that happens and put a positive spin on it, then yes, pos thinking brings pos results :fun: That's how I try to look at life and I know ever since I started to do that, life has not only become easier, but better as well :)

I don't think so, positive thinking can often delude you to feeling the situation is better than it is. Sometimes you need to face reality and look at the problem as is before you can deal with it.

I think positive thinking is good as long as you're not in a fantasy world...it is best to be realistic at times too lol,but the key is to not let yourself get dragged down

Positive thinking instills confidence, which ALWAYS produces positive results, depending on the outlook of the one doing the actual work...personal growth and all that

Nope, it doesn't always. However, what it does is give a person a greater feeling of hope and motivation, which often leads that person to work at something more diligently and/or more confidently, which generally produces better results than the same person doing that same thing while feeling down.So basically, positive thinking makes us more willing to work harder. And hard work tends to produce better results. However, we still have to actually do the work regardless of how positively we think about it.

For me, positive thinking motivates you to achieve the best results and lessens your worry and bad feelings , but it can't control some situations. Sometimes, bad things happen even you have positive thinking. The best way to handle situations is to think positively and negatively as well. Negative, I mean, being aware on what may happen, not worrying or getting sad. But this quality needs very strong courage, 'cause people are naturally carried away with their emotions. Even me, not all the time I'm strong (laugh).

Judging a person does not define who they are.
It defines who you are.

The important thing is to be genuine about it: don't ignore negative consequences, don't ignore things which are not alright, and don't think "positively" in a way that just fools yourself. But at the same time, yes, think positively. Believe that you can do what you want to do, that you can serve your own interests and those of all others you meet, that the world is ultimately a good place and so on. Believe it, and you will achieve it.

Don't believe it, and you will never be all that you were supposed to be.
