i see that rockband 3 is out and wanted to know if anyone has it yet, and if it is any good

Yea I did, It's pretty fun but i like it better with the actual guitar on a console.

I would love to try it, but unfortunately I think that rock band 3 has been released after the product's peak. I bought rock band 2 when it came out and the guitar is still collecting dust in my closet in the "Misc. electronics" box. Since that game was released about 7 or 8 identical games.The best idea is to release these games for individual download (for a nominal fee of course) in the market. It will save on marketing and can still maintain its audience that it still has.

It's an okay game at best. I personally thought the tracklist was very weak and the game was more recreational, than having any sort of objective.

You'll need an actual guitar on a console for best experience.
