I dont think i just do the same routine that i been taught to do. Sometimes i pretend that there is a real fire and try to rush out of school as fast as i can.

Pretty much resigned to the fact that it's a false alarm but you gotta go out anyway.

At my school, it means someone set a trash can on fire in the bathroom. We just continue with our lessons

In my first apartment, the fire alarms on all three floors were linked, so if one went off they all went off. They weren't triggered by smoke, but by heat. Now, the guy who lived on the second floor regularly forgot to turn on the fan in the bathroom when he took his morning shower, so whenever he opened the door, all that steam would hit the fire alarm and set it off. This set off mine, usually waking me up. So now whenever I hear a fire alarm, I think of punching a dude. :fun:

When I was in college, one of the locals I was friends with at the place I drank had been a student at my college many years earlier. He told me that once he almost died in a fire in his dorm. The reason? When the fire alarm, which would've been a bell and hammer alarm, went off the night before his big exam, he grabbed something, beat it until it fell off the wall, and went back to sleep. Naturally, when the firemen came to his door to tell him to get out, he claimed not to know what happened to the alarm.

The first thing that comes to mind is: "Is this a drill? How big is the fire?"And the important thing is: "I need to get my stuff."I mean, seriously. I NEED MY STUFF.

Whenever a fire alarm went off in the dorms, I'd always complain that drills went off at the worst, most random times. I usually take my time leaving because I know it's a drill. Only once did it go off and it wasn't a drill.

Simply means that it's going to be a rare off day from work. Though I'm actually paranoid to hearing the fire alarm at home.

I don't think of anything to be honest. My mind goes blank and I instantly get sort of panicked? I suppose my next thought is something like "Should I go out? Is it a real alarm?". That sort of thing. I bet its going to get me in trouble some day :kingd:

Whenever it goes off at work (lots of testing lately), I sort of wait till someone comes and tells me if its a test or not. Follow the leader is a good idea though :kingd:

"HOORAY!" .... is what I always think. It means disruptions of lessons and a wonderful break from all that mind boggling mess. :bad: ... I've never actually experienced a real fire though- I suppose it's because we have all those fire drills- I guess I'm immune to fire alarms now. This is actually quite worrying... what if a real fire pops out? :

I go "Holy **** holy **** it's a fire!" Usually when I am at school I grudgingly grab my bag and head outside. Depending on how cold it is outside, the grudging can vary. Now if I was in an apartment or something and it was something stupid, I would be pretty angry. Especially if it was for popcorn in the microwave or something. It has happened in that case.

I wonder if there's a fire drill.Actually, there are no fire alarms in our neighborhood. If there's a fire you'd hear the fire trucks first.

I think that some people wants us to leave the building because a fire drill is hapening. Though I doutbt that this drill can be done when there is real file going one. I mean during the dril, the person will leave the room as calm as they can and walk down the stairs calmly (and sometimes they are chatting with each other). But when a true fire occurs, i don't think people will still be calm. They might right for they life and go quickly as they can. Some will be panicking.
