I was trying to capture it with an ultra ball, weakening it with Leech Seed, but he died first and I couldn't catch it, is there any way to capture it since I missed my chance?GPs were deducted for this post, please read the rules! - tedsb16

You really should just check out sites like GameFAQs. You will almost certainly find your solution there.Anyway, I've never played Pokemon Platinum but I did search a little and found something.It seems that after you beat the Elite Four, you need to go to some place called Sendoff Spring or Turnback Cave. Apparently, the place is some sort of a maze and you have to find 3 pillars or something. Once you've done the maze or something, Giratina will appear.Sorry, I don't know if it's much help but like I said, I haven't played the game.I found this from GameFAQs and it'll probably make more sense if you read it. I tell you what, I'll just copy that section here:
