Is there a way, to anyone's knowledge, to emulate the Super Game Boy in any of the SNES emulators? There's a very simple reason I'm asking - I saw color palette codes for Metroid II. I know I can create a palette in VBA (and have done so, btw), but the point stands that it's not as... authentic, you know?

I'm kind of wondering that, too

I don't know how it works, but I can say that they do offer the super game boy BIOS or whatever as a download on the main site. just do a search for it and you can tool around with it.

um, ive had the rom at one point, but you would need to change the rom around so that you would beable to load gameboy roms onto it.

Why not just use a gb emulator that supports SGB?

As the above person apophis has stated there are gameboy emulators that support the super gameboy pallets and borders. But only on games that have their own to supply. So you miss out on the super gameboy's neat built in backgrounds. But pallet editing is in VBA. So most of the features of the super gameboy can be used in gameboy emulators such as the one I mentioned.
Now as for the original idea of using the super gameboy rom and launching gameboy roms, how about a hack that makes it sort of like the disksys.rom for the nes emulators? Just a thought for any savvy hackers out there. Still sort of pointless considering that only regular gameboy and super gameboy compatible games would actually would work.
