Hey, does anyone know if the R4 supports 4gb cards?I was reading this:http://www.amazon.co...n...6002&sr=1-2And apparently only certain devices support anything higher than 2gbWith the R4... being a mod device, I figured I should ask before ordering.

Help anyone. I play Elite Beat Agents(U) in my r4 with the latest firmware(1.11). Everything works fine until the stage with the song "Material Girl". The game stops when I try to enter this stage.

Where did you get the rom?It sounds like a bad dump, but if you got it from here, thats not the issue.

Depend if the Micro SD is HC, if it isn't HC then it should work, if it is HC then it wouldn't work until a firmware that enables Micro SDHC cards to be read (M3 Simply is getting it, but Im not sure when)

Step 3: Click on my computer, and highlight your usb card reader it should show up as a new hard drive icon (the drive letter depends on how many devices you have installed)right click and select format, choose either fat or fat 32.I went on my computer but I don't see any USB card reader, or any new hard drive icon.

Well is your USB card reader plugged in? If it is then it should pop up under "devices with removable storage"

hey umm im having some problems with my r4. I want to play my sims so bad but it doesnt work. ive dl-ed it from two diff site. non of them worked, even the eur version. It says error, cant not access data.. i havnt tried this site yet but i dont think it'll make a diff. i dont think its the file its my r4? but other games worked, the only games that didnt work was my sims, bleach, and touch detective. HELP MEE please.. oh yeah ive got the cutest skin for my r4 hehe, for anyone who wanted a skin, you could just google r4 skins and dl them XDohh yeaah, umm my sims worked on my friend's r4, and we both dl-ed it from the same link. why's that!!? why does it say could not access data x'[i wanna plaay help help

Most likely you and your friend are running different versions of the firmware. The latest firmware can be found on the offical R4 site. http://www.r4ds.com/download-en.htm

To have only one rom is possible, but then what are you going to do with the rest of the space on the micro SD?Its possible to dump your own roms but with a R4 you'll need a EzFlash 3in1 Expansion pack and Rudolph's 3in1 Backup Tool. Or use a Slot 2 NDS flashcartYou can get Rudolph's 3in1 Backup tool herehttp://www009.upp.so...nds/NDS_Backup/This however requires you to have the actual game cartridge to be read and create ROM.

I've been considering buying one of them wifi devices... Has anyone tried using them with the R4? Were friend codes properly generated?

Wifi works perfectly with all ROMs placed used on the R4. Not even Nintendo can tell the difference between someone playing a legit copy to someone playing with the ROM. Only download play is affected by the R4 and its only affected when your using a trimmed ROM.

I couldn't find anyone with this problem. Perhaps you have a bad rom?

Depends on the size of the games. You can easily fit 7 128 MB games on it with room for a few other smaller ROMs. Or if you want to put as many games on as possible then you could shove arround about 62 16 MB games on it. But most Micro SD cards dont actually hold the ammount that is said on the packet. My supposedly 512 MB Mirco SD only holds 488 MB's. I hope this info helps.

The fake R4 has a slot-2 card. The real R4 doesn't. You've misread the first post.And you don't need a booting tool. You have a slot-1 flashcart, why would you need one?

Listen everyone, i need some advicei Just got my R4 in but i havent got a DSThe story goes as follows:Got home from school and loaded up my Micro SD with all the filesPut SD in R4 and put R4 into my brothers DS Lite and it goes it cant detect anything, as if there was no Game Pakhmmmmm, so i messed around the with the folders (put English v1.11 in root and put everything else in that) and it still didnt workso i decided to check with my sister's DS (original) and it shows the error, could not find _DS_MENU.DATSo......i moved everything back to the root folder and voila, it works!!Now my problem is, it still doesnt show up on my brothers dsl, however, other game cartridges work fine....To make my problem even worse, is that i actually ordered three R4 but have 2 of them "hidden" as to leave them as surprise for my bro and sis....final Dilema, should i go buy a dsl, and what can i do to fix my brothers........

Have you tried cleaning the Pins on your R4 and DSL?, The R4 shouldn't have any problems running on either DS or DSL
