Try putting the rom on the micro SD again or update to the latest firmware. For more info about snes emulators read: [EMULATOR] Emulating other systems on the DSumm i just skipped the last 47 pages (>.>), so sorry if my quesitons are already answered...if a rom doesnt work, did i just get a bad rom, or are they blocked completely?(loz:ph, sonic rush, a few others) the game loads up normally, then goes white and stays like that.i saw a link for a snes emulator to run on r4, can you explain more about how to put in roms?also, the link for ndse, the text program for ds, is dead. any1 have a link that works?
The latest version is v1.14, to check your firmware look on the bottom right corner of the top screen in the R4 main menu. maybe, i just noticed that hers is v1.09 while mine is 1.10 so i'll try that and see if it worksi've tried folowing the instrutions at the begining of this threa and i can't get the version to change. when i downloaded it it was just an rar file and i dont know what i ave t replace to get it to work. someon please help me!!!

Follow the link on the first page. Under the Kernel tab is a few links, click the one that says R4 v1.14 kernel (English/French/Korean). It'll start the download. Once downloaded extract the files and copy them onto your micro SD. You should get a pop-up saying that the files already exsist and it asks you if you want to overright them. Click yes for all. Once its done copying you'll be using the newest firmware.

Hi, I just recently got an R4, works great. I have almost every game I want, but when I downloaded Geometry Wars: Galaxy it was seperated or something. You need a program such as winrar or 7-zip. With either of them installed just right-click the .rar file and choose 'extract here' and it will do everything else. - Refering to Narutards post

I'm using the SNEmulDS emulator to play SNES games on my DS. However, it runs Chrono Trigger horribly. Are there any other SNES emulators on DS that run Chrono Trigger smoothly?

Question...I've downloaded a few games that have multiple zip files and multiple .nds files to each game.When I try to play these games using my R4, they don't work. I tried putting the multiple .nds files into a folder and then putting that into the R4, but that didn't work either.They don't even show up in the game list.I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

Its called a split archive. Usually used to break one large file into smaller pieces so that they can be transferred over a slow network at different times without causing disruptions. Um..Hello guys, I have one question..For a game like Pokemon..If you have an older Pokemon game (Emerald, Ruby etc) in Slot-2, and while you're playing Diamond/Pearl in Slot-1, you can find some bonus pokemon in certain places in the wild.. So I want to know if that is possible with just an R4? If so, please explain how.Thanks very much in advance!

Yeah its possible. Just insert your Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/Leaf Green/Fire Red cart into slot 2 and load up Diamond or Pearl from the R4. Its that same if you had the real thing. I finally gotten my hand on Luminous Arc and start playing it. But I notice that whenever I use ALPH's Rifle the game freeze up. Is this a known problem with the game with R4? Or is it this my copy of the game???

Luminous Arc should work with no problem, I got pretty far on my M3 Simply which is basically the same as an R4 so the problem could be your rom.

I recently downloaded Miami Nights ROM for my R4 but when i turn on my DS all i get is two white screens. I was wondering if i was the only one? I try to play every DS game that looks even slightly interesting but it irritates me when ROMS dont work.
