Yup, I have the latest filmware. Although the game is in a split archive. I placed all the .rar files in a folder and extracted the first one. Am I suppose to extract them all?

Lately it seems when I download roms for the DS (playing by using my R4), I've been getting messages like: "Problem Loading" or "Could not read data, turn off the power and reinsert DS card." When it boots up initially, everything is fine, until the title screen (when the aforementioned message pops up). This never used to happen, and now it's happening more often that not. What's up?

The place where I get my flashcarts from don't have any R4s for sale but do have the M3 simply which is practically the same product. Quick question. I finally managed to get Advance Wars Days of Ruin to work (thanks to your wonderful help about the firmware), and yet when I started a campaign the screens were inversed. Touch Screen was at the top and the top screen became the bottom. It looked totally weird. I know I saw someone ask about this before but I can't find that post anymore...

Not sure if this will help, but try downgrading to 1.12, another user has said it worked fine for them.

I have downloaded two different versions of the Miami Nights: Singles in the City rom and evrytime I play them in my R4 all I get is that my screen goes completely white. ANyone know why or how I can fix this?

I'm interested in the eBook funtion of the R4 card. Can someone please give me some more information on what sort of file types I should be looking for. Also is it still Drag and Drop for the eBooks

Does anyone have a detail guide on how to use the action replay feature of the r4? That guide should include how to add and remove codes. Please don't direct me to r4's site because I don't really understand what they're saying. Thanks!

You'll need to use the R4 Cheat manager to create a usrcheat.dat file.Create a new cheat DB then add a game, Put the game name inm then for Game ID go to tools>get GAMEID from ROM.add a code give a cheat name and a note(optional) then add the cheat data. after your done click "Update Code" before moving onto the next cheat.For the actual code you can look for them at codejunkies

Ok, thanks for answering my question. It answered a very small portion of my of questions. I still need an in depth guide on all the process. Like how do I create the file, where do I put the file, and etc. But, thanks anyway. It did helped me out though.

The save file shouldn't be affected by a rom trim, so give it a try. If your worried about it not working make a backup of your save and rom.

Hi, I have the lastest v1.15 kernal installed already on the R4 and I downloaded a game called (#0535) Puzzle Series- Jigsaw Puzzle- Koneko Mekuri Hen (J) for the NDS.At first, it gave me a message in Japanese at the top (and then frozes) when I first load the game, so I thought maybe if I reset the game it'll be okay... and so I did. I got it to worked until the title screen comes on... I want to click either the yellow/pink button to enter a game mode but suddenly both the top and bottom screen turns black and the game frozes...Can someone please tell me how I can fix this problem? Help appreciated, thank-you!

Just a quick question, is there anyway to add extra cheat codes to the R4 software, or do i just have to rely on updates?::EDIT:: Ah sorry, I've found the cheat code editor, though im not sure on how to use it, can anyone help?

Have you tried using the latest firmware? Although in my opinion, I wouldn't bother playing that game.

Well I'm a big sim-game-esque fan. Whatever you call it lol.And yeah I got the latest firmware it still doesn't work. D=All I get is both screens turn white. And appperently I'm not the only one with this problem.
