I've found a nice cheat file, it's made by Hiei YYH, a brilliant code creator too by the sounds of it. Find it here:
http://www.codemasters-project.net/members/hieiyyh/ards/hieiyyhr4ds.dat
It's much more comprehensive than mine I think, have fun :s

(I hope I'm posting in the right section)I just got a new memory card, 4 gb, and... I put the _system_ & moonshell folder onto the card. and it's the latest version of moonshell (171)..but when I try to turn on my ds... it loads the normal warning/caution screen and then it says "Loading..." which is normally fine because it goes straight to the main menu after a second or saying "Loading" but my screen is stuck on there. I'm really lost because I previously have had no problems with setting up everything on my memory cards (since I have a 1 gb and a 2gb). But I can't figure out why this isn't working?? If someone can help me... I'd really appreciate it! I even tried patching moonshell....

Is your Micro SD a HC card? You can expect problems if it is since the R4 can't handle Micro SDHC cards

Hi everyone! I`ll get straight to the point. My R4 has just stopped working and when I try to load it up, it says "Couldn`t find_DS_MENU.dat". When I tried to look at the files with my new microSD card reader it shows 4 unidentified files of varying sizes, and it still contains 1.84 or something gbs out of its total of 2gb. It`s been working for the past half year or so i`ve had it for though. As they say in Elite Beat Agents, "HEEEEEEEEEAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!"

is there file called "_DS_MENU.dat" on your micro sd? If you can't figure out the problem try formatting your card and putting on the latest firmware, don't forget to backup what you want to keep before formatting.

Well, that`s the problem. I already put on the latest 1.17 firmware. BTW my friend got the problem as well! I don`t have a clue what he done after that though...

Did you put the files that were in the system folder on your mini-cd on the root of your R4? Because you can't use the firmware that are on the internet those are only meant for updating the firmware.

Apparently this works for the R4. I don't have one so I can't check.http://down.tgbus.co...ft/19913.shtml#Scroll down to the green "v" buttons, don't use the first one, but both the ones marked 网通下载 and 电信下载 are http downloads.

Yes, I'm pretty sure it's illegal. It's much the same as downloading pc games of the internet. Instead it's DS games, though. But don't let that put you off! I believe that game companies get enough as they do already.I'm in the UK where games cost a lot. £30, about $60 american for a new game.

It's illegal to play pirated games (commercial ROMs), however it should be fine it's only used for homebrew. This could be different depending which country you live in.

Is the R4 compatible with a 4 gig micro SD card? I was thinking of buying this one: http://www.amazon.co...e...7046&sr=8-2

No the R4 doesn't not support Micro SDHC cards. So you won't be able to play roms with one.
