It's really frustrating for me to look for latest CHINESE kernel, most of the latest kernels that I found are in English, French and Korean. is there any site that update Chinese kernels?

yeah, but that happens to me with regular DS cartridges anyways.I don't think it's an issue with the R4Does anyone else's R4 occasioanlly "miss" being picked up by the NDS? Sometimes it just boots normally as if no card is in slot 1

That the ds doesn't recognize the R4 is a common problem, it's because it's overheated, just cool it down. It's the same with game cards.

Try the 'Edge' nicknamed the 'R4 Revolution Version 3' if you want HC compatibility - mines 100% with a 4Gig card - not tried anything higher than that yet.Is the R4 compatible with a 4 gig micro SD card? I was thinking of buying this one: http://www.amazon.co...e...7046&sr=8-2

I have a problem with ROM 1612 LEGO Star Wars Complete Saga. Whenever I reach episode 2 chapter 1 and reach a part where Obi Wan meet Jango Feet, the movie just freeze. My R4 is using the latest version, so I don't know what cause this problem.

umm... about the hacking thing to turn the chinese to english, is there anyway to undo that or is there anyway to update the firmware to 1.18cuz i just got summon night twin age and i couldn't play itif there is another way, can you please tell me? thanks

I had a similar experience Ps2kid, I figured it was a cheat i had enabled for the r4 and it seemed to work fine. I sometimes try to bypass the scenes just to help not to mess it up. I had a similar problem in stage 1. I turned characters into c3po and i tried walking through a doorway and the game kept messing up as if there was no flooring in the back room.. kinda weird so i shut it off and turned it back on and it worked again and didn't give me the same problem.. so my advice i guess is to either disable the cheats that may have been on, or restart the ds.

I'm having another problem with ANOTHER Lego games. Yep, the Lego Indiana Jones also give me freezing problem. At the end of the 2nd chapter of Raiders of Lost Ark, after the movie ends the screen just blacked out.

Could someone help me with Etrian Odyssey? This message always comes up when I try to start it. "Could not read the DS card. Please turn the power OFF, reinsert the DS Card, then turn the power ON again."EDIT: I just did the Arm7 thing and it still hasn't worked, with the same message.

What firmware are you using? The rom should work fine with the latest firmware. If not try a older firmware since the US version worked on its release.

Ah thank you. I updated it and its fine now.Ok thats weird. For some reason it screwed up my Themes and Multimedia folder. Theres a message saying,"An error was detected while trying to access the disc or file. Please confirm the followings:Did the setup end normally?Is the '/moonshl' folder moved or deleted?Have you enabled the resume function with a media that is not supported?Do you have enough free space on your media?Please re-format the media and try again.Please try with a different media from another manufacturer."Im pretty sure the setup was fine and I have the moonshl folder on my SD. I have no idea what that resume function business is all about and I have just under a gb of free space left. I dont know how to reformat it though.

So I'm planning on buying a flashcart, and already read alot of reviews/faqs etc, but I can't reallyfind anything about transferring .sav files that you made when playing with an emulator, to a flashcart.I'm not English of origin, so my English isn't that good. I found this in the faq though;

Basically to transfer them you have to move them onto the storage device and make sure theyre the right type and name. They should be the same name as the ROM (at least, thats what it normally is for the R4).

Yeah I think so...if it still doesn't work, put the ROM onto the card and start a new game. Find out where the save file is created and put it in that folder.Ok, thanks. So you just move them in the 'Games' folder?
