There's anti-piracy for this game that makes the train controls disappear. You can find a patch on gbatemp.net. I didn't have much time to update the pinned topic that lists games with anti-piracy because I have it really bussy because of my final year, but I'll see when I can update the thread. How can i get The Legend Of Zelda Work On My R4 card?Cuz i can't see the whistle and neither the lever

Buy a M3i Zero from www.depot4u.com instead. They are genuine.I am interested in getting one of these... I have a dsi, so I need the r4i right? And also, I am probably going to put a lot of stuff on it, so I want a 8gb sd card. I was wondering if anyone knew if this was a good site to buy it from? http://www.r4-ds-car...intendo_dsi/r4i

Put the GBA game in the GBA slot then turn on your DS and pick GBA.For ROMS on the other hand you'll need a Slot 2 flashcart or a GBA expansion pack. How do I go about playing GBA games on the DS?
Q: How can I play GBA roms with a slot 1 flashcart?A: For most slot 1 flashcarts you can use the Ezflash 3in1 Expansion pack to play GBA roms. If your flashcart isn't the EzFlash brand then you'll need the hombrew program to run it which you can get here. Some other flashcarts like the M3 REAL comes with a GBA pack which you'll need to play GBA roms.

I don't recommend getting any flashcart from the R4 franchise at all. They dropped the R4 NDS cart a while back and it is now obsolete. I recommend you get the M3iZero for a great compatibility ratio just as someone stated above, or if eye-candy on your DS UI is more your thing then go for AK2i.M3iZero and AK2i are both usually around $20-$30.i checked out http://www.depot4u.c...i-nds-ndsl.html for an r4i, doesn't say the price tho, is this place a good deal?

Only the firmware from the original R4 works with an original R4, this is because the company that made the R4 got a lawsuit and lost, any firmware from a clone is incompatible. If you want to use the latest firmware, try using Ysmenu which allows your R4 to run on TTDS firmware.@RemeThat firmware is made for the SDHC version and therefore it does not work with the original R4Can I use the latest kernel from the R4 DS SDHC website for my regualr R4DS Revolution?Or is the new R4 different form the one I got like two years ago or so?

You should honestly just buy another flashcart. The R4 ROM compatibility is horrible and R4 is no longer supported because of a DMCA.Try this compatibility list to see how to fix your problem: http://www.romulatio...hp?topic=1281.0So i bought a DS, and i'm using R4 Christmas version with the red themethere are games that can't be played, one game that i really want to play is new super mario bros, after the nintendo logo, it is said that the saved data corrupted but i haven't even played it yet,and then after it is erased the screen that says corrupted goes over again, again, again ... and again .... tiredwhen i'm using my friend's flashcard M3, new super mario bros works just finecan anyone help me ? Might seem like a wall of text but bear with me :]1) In a nutshell, yes. You download .nds files unto your microSD card which you then insert into the flashcart of your choice. The amount of games you can have in there at a time completely depends on the size of your microSD card. A 1GB card will most likely hold about 10-20 games depending on their size (ranges from 32MB~200MB that I've seen). There's SD cards out there that go all the way up to 8GB and 16GB. 32GB ones aren't really supported by many, to be on the safe side, go for 8GB maximum. Another thing to consider is the class type of the microSD card. Which I'll explain in 2)2) No. These glitches are generated by the emulator itself and will run completely different depending on which flashcart you use. The flashcart with the best ROM compatibility to date is the CycloDS made by team cyclops; I've yet to see a game have any problems with that cart. It's quite pricey (ranging from $35-$50) and second to that one I'd say Acekard 2. I personally bought the AK2 because it's incredibly cheaper ($10-$15) and has a pretty cool UI. AK2 also has a great ROM compatibility and has little to no ROM problems (because of the anti-piracy crap but AP is present in almost every flashcart including CycloDS).Another thing to consider about glitches with flashcarts is the running speed. MicroSD cards are categorized in 3 class types: Class 2, class 4, and class 6. Each of them have a writing/reading speed. 2 being the slowest and 6 the fastest. The differences are hardly noticeable but they become obvious when playing certain ROMS.As a closing comment, I strongly and I cannot stress this enough, strongly suggest you step away from the R4 flashcarts as most of them are either fakes or clones. Not to mention the official team no longer supports it any longer. If you want zero problems with homebrew/ROMs on your DS go for Cyclo DS. If budget is a factor for you, go for the Acekard 2. Also, if you own a DSi, M3i Zero ($39-$50) is probably your best bet in terms of great compatibility and Acekard2i ($25-$35) for again, budget restrains.I'm THIS close to buying one of these but a few questions...1. The R4 is like having a bunch of real DS games on one cart, right? 2. Will the glitches in games that I have seen on No$GBA and DeSEmu be present when I play a rom with the R4?
You be the judge: http://gbatemp.net/i...showtopic=38174 In my personal experience/opinion, both of them are terrible. Stick with the Cyclo or AK2.Here are some reviews for the mentioned carts:CycloDS GBATemp ReviewAcekard 2 GBATemp ReviewAcekard2i (for DSi) GBATemp ReviewM3i Zero (for DSi) GBATemp ReviewAcekard 2i, M3i Zero, CycloDS Comparison Review from GBATempR4 DS GBATemp ReviewI hope this helps.Wait is DS Xtreme better than an R4 for the NDS Lite?

Yep. You need to purchase your own SD card. Some AK2's dont even come with a reader anymore, others do. This is where I purchased my ak2: (about a 2 week delivery, came with a metalic stylus and a reader included (+$1))http://www.0shipping...kard-p-285.htmlAnd I suggest this 8 gig memory card: (4 days delivery and also class 6)http://www.newegg.co...1-341-_-ProductThat's the only real catch. And as for firmware, go for AKAIO 1.5.1 (latest when this was posted) as it supports more ROMs than the actual offical AK2 firmware. AKAIO is run by a separate team than the official one and does a better job at it.Thanks, both of you! And I read the whole thing, reme! =D$10-$15 for 100% compat and 100% reliability??? Hell yeah, count me in! But wait there's gotta be some catch or SOMETHING, right? I have to buy my own SD card? Buy my own cables? Voids my warranty? Only available in Asia?
