Game IDs not matching, now that does sound like the problem! You said that you got your ROM from DGEmu? Strange. Which one is it? Is it this one or this one? And what was the Game ID of the ROM you have, the one that's "wrong"?I don't have an R4 myself, but I'll what I can do...I did some digging, and using R4CCE I was able to figure out that the game ID for the rom I'm using (from this site) is different from the game ID in the cheat database. Can someone help me figure out how to fix this? Thanks!

I remember the website advertised on the package box is the very same interface as this one, save for the url (which I think didn't end in .me) : http://r4ds.me/index-en.html . The files available for download are the same as the advertised website though...maybe my memory could be tricking me.Also, I'm using a black DS Lite and a Toshiba 2gb micro SD cardSo my questions are : is my R4 official or not? And why do I get a double white screen when booting any game? (I can play perfectly fine with the official firmware)Thank you in advance.PS : It's completely off-topic but it'll prevent me from posting twice : is dgemu's search engine down? Everytime I try to search the threads, I get a "Sorry, the administrator has taken the search engine offline for the moment. Please try again later"

Thanks for your quick response - I did read over the first page, but wanted to check if anyone knew if it was an issue with the game itself before changing stuff with my card. I'll give it a shot and see what happens!Edit: Okay, I installed Wood R4 (v1.18) and it seems to be running fine, but it hasn't fixed the problems with the games. The game is still crashing, though it seems to happen at the same point now - last times it crashed I was able to get further. Any further advice, or should I give YSMenu a shot to see if it can make the game work? The majority of games run fine for me, just this one and another on hang at a certain point. My advice is to read the first post of this thread, follow the instructions there. That's what this topic is for actually. But since you actually asked at the correct place, instead of posting your question all over the place like some of the other guys, I'll reiterate my instructions then:If you have the original R4 use Wood R4: http://gbatemp.net/t...ting-up-wood-r4Remember to use Wood R4 v1.1.8If you have a clone use YSMenu: http://www.dgemu.com...howtopic=460896Yours sounds like an original, so try Wood first. If it doesn't work try YSMenu.

Ah, crap.>__<"Acekards and DSTWOs are not available here...Never mind. Thanks anyway...By Mohl. It requires a flashcart which is build specifically to work on DSis. So I'm afraid you're a bit out of luck in this, because it's pretty much impossible to get a regular R4 to work on DSi.

Firstly, your post was in the right section HOWEVER, there is a specific topic for all and any R4 problems which you would've found if you checked the Pinned Topics. Never mind about that though. I'll just merge this with that one.Secondly, I can't seem to see your pictures. I remember someone else made this same mistake. Check this post out of mine so that you know what to do in order for us to see your pictures: http://www.dgemu.com...a...t&p=4901798

Sorry wasn't sure if I can post like thisAlso an update I did manage to get ysmenu to work but that's about it I ended up not having a few files for the crypter to work. but it would be nice to get wood r4 to work as well sense it's more updatedFirstly, your post was in the right section HOWEVER, there is a specific topic for all and any R4 problems which you would've found if you checked the Pinned Topics. I don't remember seeing the sdch on it. I could be wrong though I'm running Ys menu on this just fine. I've had the thing for 2 years and I'm trying to set it up for my nephew as a xmas gift sense i rarely use it. I noticed the new ysmenu says golden sun dark dawn works with it as well as sonic colors but all I'm getting is a white screen. Every other game works fine now so I'm thinking this is just ap. though not sure why I can see cheats for sonic colors but cant play itHmm... it's R4 Upgrade Revolution for DS.Do you have the original packaging? Check on your box. Does it say anywhere there something like SDHC.I have a feeling your R4 is actually a fake in which case Wood R4 really isn't the best for it.You would be needing to using Ysmenu.Have a look at this. Someone's got the same as yours and it's a fake:http://img684.images...8/immagine8.pngAnd have a look at this. If you look closely because the picture is pretty bad, you can see that the cart looks at almost the same as yours:http://img72.imagesh...immagine7yw.png

I've tried reformating it. and ysmenu is working now and Ive tried all versions of sonic colors so far nothingYou mentioned that the Ysmenu should be able to run it and so if it doesn't, this probably means there's a problem elsewhere.Right, considering you've had this for 2 years and have scarcely used it and now that you're going to give this to your nephew, I would advise you start off clean. Mainly what I mean is that you should reformat your SD card. I don't know if you've already done this or not but this actually solves many problems that people quite often face. Backup everything from your SD card and then reformat your card. You can download and and use this program to reformat your SD: http://panasonic.jp/...ormatter20.htmlIf that doesn't work, then post back here. As you mentioned, there is AP for Sonic Colors and there is a patch for the game. However, I advise you to reformat your SD card first, as that can possibly help avoid other problems in the future. If reformatting your SD card doesn't solve it, then we'll try the patch.Oh and finally, what version of Sonic Colours are you trying to play? Are you trying play the (E) version or the (U) version?
