Why would the OP have to say goodbye to his/her psp? Will $ony come and kick down their door for installing it?You seem to imply that they are guaranteed to destroy the psp just by installing the CFW.Obviously there will be a small chance of bricking if they dont do it correctly but anyone who mods will know the risks.But if you so much as try to install CFW, say goodbye to that psp

Real custom firmware ended around 5.xx (iirc)Trying to install a real custom firmware on 6.xx will brick your psp.If he was at the right firmware, then yeah, only a very small chance.Of course now wololo has the answer for almost all firmwares (by downgrading)http://wololo.net/wagic/cfw4dummies/Why would the OP have to say goodbye to his/her psp?
