Man. It's 34 degrees Celsius here. Too lazy to type. Basically, old way, too longwinded. So. I think V's recommended game wiki is a good model. As a sample, something like this:[SAMPLE SHIFTED TO POST #3]Except better formatting; I'm a bit rusty with HTML. If you've written a review for a game, of course it'll be thrown into the column.Thoughts? Comments?Split into Genres? It hot.

I meet this suggestion with approval. Definitely split into genres. Possibly we could have a topic where people submit recommended games with images+genre+description, and some panel-like group accepts/vetoes/alters said submissions? Separate column for game image? Keep it tidier?

does it trouble your mind, the way you trouble mine?

Oh maaaaaaaaan, the html is messing with the page preview.
| Game | Genre | Summary | Reviews |
|---|---|---|---|
![]() | Adventure, Visual Novel, Puzzle | A Visual Novel with themes of pseudo-science and historical fiction, you play as Junpei, a university student kidnapped from his apartment, waking up on a ship with nothing but a bracelet with the number 5 on his wrist. From then on, him and 8 others are continually thrown in life and death situations, gameplay-wise as puzzles, and continuing the story where no one is who they seem. tl;dr, it's friggin amazing. | Metacritic: 81 |
[Image here] | I'UNNO | A Might & Magic game taking place in the early years of of the characters in Might & Magic 5, it plays nothing like the other M&M games. More like Match-3 gameplay, akin to Puzzle Quest, except instead of gems, you match up units in your army to create defensive and attack formations. | Metacritic: 86 |
[IMAGE HERE] | Strategy RPG | A grid based SRPG, follows your MC as you, your friends, and the rest of the city are isolated from the outside world when demons start appearing. Like any SMT game, heavy on the themes of angels, demons, and mankind, featuring multiple endings for your MC to choose. Each human member teams up with 2 other demons, and with the vast fusion options SMT offer, allows you to effectively customise the role of each battle team. | Metacritic: 84 |

I like /v/'s layout too, so you need screenshots or just want box art or what?Sorting by genre could work, but some gaames have multiple genre types, so maybe just sort them by gameplay genre? Ex. 999 would be puzzle, since most of the core gameplay is the puzzles. Unfortunatly, this would put it in the same genre as some other, less awesome games.idk, when is the list going to be made public anyway?

Yeah, the specific genre thing would be hard to split up, unless we're happy with including repeat recommendations if a game spans over two genres.Or.Keep the genres broad and generic. So for example, Ace Attorney/Investigations, Time Hollow, 999, heck, even Layton, would all go into one 'broad' genre of something like Adventure point-and-click/Visual Novel/Puzzle, because for the most part, most of those types of games include it all. RPGs I guess would also include Action RPGs like Lufia remake, and SRPGs like Fire Emblem.

I like the style of the body, but I don't think sorting them by genre would work. Too narrow, and you get a bajillion genres, but too broad, and you get different games in the same genre.Maybe just make the list Alphebetical or by publisher. That way, people coulf use Ctrl+f for a specific genre.

Then put in the 'awesome' genre, durr. Why not have it so that, when a person sees a game they like, idk maybe 3 other recommendations link up to them. Or if there are other games in the same series.Unfortunatly, this would put it in the same genre as some other, less awesome games.
Should I feel bad if I want everything to become ice cream?
