i want to buy a ds and am not sure which one to buy. i own game boy advance games that i would still want to play so am thinking of the ds lite, there is teh dsi which is much better than the lite and now there is even teh 3ds. just wanted some opinions.

If you want to carry on playing your GBA games you should either keep your GBA or get a DSlite. Im not sure that DSI plays GBA games. I kept my GBA for all my old GameBoy games. I prefer DSlite, DSI seems more fragile and weird for me. If you want more up to date stuff then i would go for the DSI.reading this post, i didnt help much!

DSi does not have a GBA slot, so if u still have a GBA you can get a DSi and use your GBA to GBA games. If you willing to wait for while and have abit more money to spend you can wait for the 3DS.Otherwise a DS lite will also play your GBA games while giving you option of accessing game features in which your NDS game will get bonuses/features by having a GBA game in the DS Lites gba slot(eg pokemon PalPark).

DSlite is the way to go. it's smaller than the DS and can still play your GBA games which is a handy thing to have. DSi has some advantages but i think the DSlite is better.

on my opinion, i think the DSlite because its what i have and what i use to play my GBA games

Personally, I like the DS lite best. It's smaller than DSi, DSiXL, or DS, and I'm not sure of 3DS. I like the shape and light and everything, too. But if you want more functions, like camera, photo-editing, or 3D, go for the DSi or 3DS. ^^

personally i would go with the dslite for these reasons , you can play your GBA games on the dslite as the dsi has no gba slot , there reasonabily cheap at the minute so if money is a problem then thats the one for you plus if you do get bored of it you can always take it back to your local game shop and get a trade in price towards a 3ds or a dsi , however if your wanting the latest tech then get the 3ds espcially if you like the 3d features of it then go for that one
