I myself prefer Big Bang Theory to How I Met Your Mother (HIMYM) as Sheldon, with his lack of knowledge of social conventions and absurd language, adds much humour to the show.HIMYM is funny due to Barney's brilliant acting and disturbing yet hilarious personality, but Big Bang Theory is funnier. What do you think? Please give reasons.

Both of these shows have aired in my country.Big Bang theory was somewhat a success while how i met ur mother utterly failed and stopped at season 1.I dont really like any of the two but if i had to pick one i would go for big bang theory.

I think the characters in The Big Bang Theory are stronger. They are both very funny, but I find myself more interested in the interactions between the Big Bang cast than HIMYM

this is one of the hardest questions in my life!! trust me i am a big fan of them both and if i had to choose one it proberbly would be himym for the fact that i wanna see who's the wife of ted's in the end but big bang thoery is awesome and 100% guaranteed to make me laugh
