This is in it's fundamental ways a port of the console version. However, it utilises 3DS technology to enhance (or hinder) gameplay. First, there is the 3D aspect, in which you can play classically in a 2D perspective, like in most fighter games, or something like Resident Evil 4, where you are over the shoulder. There is Streetpass, spotpass and Play Coin functions, and you can use download play to make two people verse each other, when they don't even have the game. There is a light mode, in which you can use your stylus to execute difficult moves, and the pro mode disables this.
This addition to the series seems to be story focussed. You are able to use the touch screen to scroll through a move list and perform attacks in that manner. You can design your own character, battle through streetpass or spotpass, and the option to tag battle (im not exactly sure its what you'd call a crossover though). One thing that could be noted is that blasting an opponent through a wall and down some stairs (or whatever the environ hazard is) shaves off more energy in comparison to previous titles.
You are getting crushed by the enemy army, so what do you do? That's right! Grab four officers and fight back. Samurai Warriors plays similar to Dynasty Warriors, except with this addition, you can instantly switch between any four officers if the scenario allows. Of course, you can build your own officer, along with the 40 others to choose from. You can use streetpass functionality to swap items with another player.
KH3D is the sequel to KH2, and supposedly ties all the previous KH titles together. Which would be nice, because it gets so darn confusing. This is going to be an interesting title to the series. You get to play as Sora and Riku, who need to take an exam to be full fledged keybladers. As you progress the game, you abruptly switch between them (apparently, it sounds it won't be scripted switchings!) Traverse Town and Hunchback of Notre Dame are confirmed worlds, and Ansem/Xemnas make appearances. Because of those two having being destroyed, it's only natural the bad guy of this game is their fusion, Xehanort. Aw, did I spoiler?! That's why its in spoiler tags.
Revelations is getting much appraisal, from what I hear. First, the 3D, lighting and atmosphere of the dark ship in the demo is spot on. Even though it plays like RE4 and RE5, the game really does send a shiver down the spine, as the dev team has tried to relay the series back to its horror element, rather than an adventure with the occasional "F**k! No ammo!" The only thing that will make the experience more intense is the initial lack of aiming control skills. Apparently, the voice acting is going to be a redemption, from the crap they've had the last five games. Claire's "What?" in Darkside was the same one each time, i tell you.
This is a, uh... try something a little less complete than 'complete', version of the mercenaries minigame from Resident Evil 4. You have ur weapons, hordes of enemies, and limited time to slay as many as you can. Think of this as the chronicles range, where there is a high score to go for. You can get another player to assist you. The characters (so far) are Chris, Claire, HUNK and Jack Krauser. You get to play in the environments of RE4 and RE5, such as the villages, the mines and the castle. Each character has a special skill, such as HUNKs combat blade and Jack's Explosive Arrows (crap, it's gonna be black ops, i tell ya!
A classic remade? Think again. This in itself is a complete experience, and tramples over the N64 cartridge by about 10 years or so, right? Supposedly, this wipes the floor with the original, especially in frame rate. You even utilise the motion control of the 3DS to quick aim upwards with something like the slingshot.
