I chose Snivy, because it would force me to get a more balanced party, instead of just relying on the starter.*looks at past pokemon games*[faces elite four, with 1 level 89, 5 level 20's]

I think the Snivy, becuase one, it looks the best (love the smug expression) and I've always wanted to try a grass pokemon.

Tepig. Why? First. Tepig is awesome, secondly, if you do pig Tepig, you have the correct color arrangement of characters:Cheren, with his blue outfit, has Oshawott.Bel, with her green outfit, has Smugleaf.Player, with the red cap, I guess, has Tepig.

I vote Snivy, mainly for the looks. I've played with all the different types of starters on all the games, but I usually pick fire. I may play with Tepig or Oshawott on the second game.

I obviously would choose snivy simply because of the last evolution!

I'd choose Tepig just because getting other cool fire pokemon in games is usually quite hard and most are ledgendaries, so Tepig. For my second run through probably Snivy.

I would choose Tepig, simply because I like it's family's design. Typing really makes little difference to me, so I just go with what I like o.O

Snivy by a long shot. I love it's moves set, and the 3rd evolution looks pretty badass.Tepig to me was more of a repeat, in the last series, we had Chimchar which was also a fighting/fire pokemon. No fun playing the same type again. :/I was close to choosing Oshawott but in all the Pokemon games I've played, I always or most likely chose water type starter so I decided to change it up.

I would choose Oshawott because its final evolution looks really nice, and also because I usually choose the water type starters.

Havent gotten the chance to try this one out yet but Ive always played as the hardest starter, makes the game more interesting and like someone else said causes you to build a balanced party

At first try, I chose Tepig cause I found out that he can become fighter type when evolved. He reminds me of P-Chan of Ranma 1/2 with Blaziken's type.

They're all so cute! But I'm a Water-Type Starter so I would choose Oshawott.

I haven't tried it out yet, but I usually pick the pokemon that has a weakness of the first gym leader's pokemon type, otherwise you end up facerolling through the first gym too easily when you get your first element attack like ember, bubble, razor leef. But I don't know who or what type the first gym leader uses si I'll probably pick the fire type, because apparently it's a pig :)

Started with Tepig on my first playthrough, but went with Snivy the second time after I saw his final evolution. If I knew the final version was a serpent style Pokemon I would have chosen it right away!

Definitely Tepig, because fire is awesome. Although, possibly Oshawott just because it would bring back the memories from when I had Pokemon blue way back when.
