Snivey, Otter is kinda stupid, and I used Tepig for the Japanese version and it was way too easy to rely on him entirely.

I am a fire starter as well but I may just go with Snivy because Tepig final form reminds me too much of fat blaziken but blaziken was cooler in my opinion. Oshawott a maybe for me I was disappointed with the last metal/water pokemon in pearl/diamond.

Snivy-It looks best through all the evolutionsTepig just looks ugly at the third evoand the water dude looks ugly at the first, but looks epic at the lastand it doesnt matter for the first battle cuz you fight the one your stronger against first THEN the one your weaker against

I usually pick the fire starter because it's hard to find a good fire type throughout the game. If it was easier to find a good fire type pokemon (like if I had pokemon black because of the fire legendary) I would choose Snivvy. One, because of its looks and two, because I would like to try out the Grass type

fire all the way... grass types are easy to catch early on and there is a huge choice of water types... its best to keep a balnced, well rounded party. i hope i can get my hands on a lanturn at some point to cover more types because they are always useful

Usually I pick the fire type starter because they are my favorite, but this time around Oshawott is totally the best. Razor shell FTW!

I chose Oshawott because it is nice to have a water Pokemon earlier on instead of waiting until you get rod to start fishing. Water Pokemon work well against most earlier encounters and usually doesn't take super-effective hits.

So which starter pokemon would you chose for black and whitei personally would chose Oshawott because it should beat fire and it has a bug type move that can beat grasswhats ur choice vote and reason

all the water types in all the games have been good, so why not keep getting the best

Snivy for me. I'm more of a fire person but I don't like pigs. Maybe Oshawott because his/her sword (shell) moves are cool in the anime.

The biggest spoiler ever for Final Fantasy. Don't read it unless you played them all. You will regret if you read it.

tepig, purely because of it being a fire type. It's usually a type that is not available right away in the game, so i always start with fire first. if you don't you end up with a bunch of plant/bug/poison, a flying, and a normal... :milo2:and where's the fun in getting owned by a bugcatcher? NOWHERE. Fire ftw

I always go for the grass type so I guess that's what I'll be going for; though it type coverage sucks

Always choose the starter with the best moveset. 2nd gen I picked Cyndaquil, 4th I picked Piplup, in this game it looks like it'll be Oshawott.
