Rune Factory... which one?

I'm wondering which to download. I've played the first and enjoyed it and want to play one of the newer ones. But, if the first one is the best then I'd download that one.

The first one was the best experience to me but of the 2 newer games I enjoyed 3 the most. RF2 has an annoying mechanics where you're locked out of most of the crafting options untill you complete a certain part of the story, not spoiling there, which made progressing to that point pretty tedious. The wooly form in RF3 seemed gimmicky at first but it's pretty fun and you're not forced to use it in combat all that often..I'd say if you wanna try the newer ones try 3, neither games are really related in terms of story other then a few recurring character from the previous games..I'm wondering which to download. I've played the first and enjoyed it and want to play one of the newer ones. But, if the first one is the best then I'd download that one.

definitely rune factory 3…there is so much new feature in there…although I must admit…for me the graphic is just so-so but what making it's fun is it system…

definitely the third onei agree that the first one is quite good, but compared to the third? i'll have to say that it's very badi hate the second one because, it's weird, the requests stop showing after i've complete it all (don't know what's the problem, the game/ my ds)

I would say the first one, i found it fun and challenging. Rune factory two was a bit of a dissapointment but i remember laughing alot aver the bad voice acting. the third game was good and you get to chose your starter weapon by yourself but you'll need alot of patience because alot of the time you have absolutely nothing to do.

I'm in love with the 2nd one * v *But RF1 is the best for me. It's true that the design is still not as good as RF2/3 but it's kinda challenging!

RF 3 for me. Actually RF 1 was pretty good, with a good mix of challenges for the different caves, while keeping the 'dating' and farming system from Harvest moon series. The reason why I chose RF 3 was that the upgraded features of the requests board totally made the game more interesting and interactive. Plus the half-wooly and half-human lead character is pretty interesting, and the graphics got even better. RF 2 was like a test just for RF 3, where they started the requests and have the option of playing two characters, but it just didn't really cut it for me after I played RF 3. 
Now I can't wait for the 4th one!

I've only played the second, which I really enjoy, but I've heard great things about the third.
