i have no idea why so many people look down on DA2... Apparently, Bioware's facebook page is full of hate because of it:S

You know, I'm really iffy on the whole Dragon Age 2 thing. I've played through the game two or three times now, but I still prefer Origins. I really like what they did in the character aspect, the majority anyway, but I think they should have left combat the way it was. I found Origins to be a lot harder with the tactical aspect the original game had. I felt like Dragon Age 2 was too much like a hack n' slash, I could run around the end dragon boss by myself and be perfectly fine. So, all in all, I really think it was a step in the right direction, taking some things from Mass Effect that worked(i.e. character friendship/rivalry, or the chat wheel), and changing up combat to just see how it works. I'm really excited for Dragon Age 3, and I hope it takes the working aspects from both games instead of taking a completely new step.

I loved it!i didnt care for the fact that dual weilding a long sword and a dagger was taken out and that i had to be a rouge with 2 daggers, but i loved that the game ended in a way that sets it up for annother game, hopefully you can pull your save data like you could do in DA2, with DA3.that would make it really interesting.

I found Dragon Age 2 to be a much more satisfying gameplay experience than its predecessor. I found combat to be slightly more varied and a lot faster paced than in Origins, and that made all the difference. I'm currently on the final part of the game and having a tough time with certain decisions, but that's more than I can say for Origins, where I've barely broken the ten hour mark on gameplay.
